Lipstick, ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick, High Impact Lip color with Moisturizing Creamy Formula, Infused with Vitamin E, 095 Finale, 0.09 Oz

I have been wearing this lipstick in various shades for years. I'm sure I've reviewed it before but it bears repeating because if Revlon ever discontinues this line, I'm going to be SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED! The colors are amazing but the staying power is what really matters! Other long-wear lipsticks can be dry or flaky but that is NOT what this one is. It goes on smoothly and once it sets, it stays all day until I take it off at night with makeup remover or chapstick. My daughter was born unexpectedly early in 2009. I had to be intubated for a c-section. Hours later, back in my room, when the doctors came in to check on me, one of the female doctors commented "wow! you look great...lipstick on and everything!" I said no, that I hadn't touched up anything and she demanded to know what kind of lipstick I was wearing that lasted through surgery and childbirth! If that's not long-lasting, I don't know what is!! Thanks, Revlon! Don't change a single thing!!

I bought one a while back on clearance in a store and it wasn't what I was expecting so I nearly threw it out. I had gotten into liquid lipstick because of the staying power and I prefer a matte look. Unfortunately most end up drying out your lips, making them look very wrinkled, wearing off oddly, oxidizing and darkening when you put them on. Thankfully I still had my Revlon lipstick. It does go on sheer. That means you can control how intense or natural it looks. It can look like a flush of color and very subtle or you can layer it on. Your lips look a little shiny at first but it eventually dries matte and stays on a while. I threw out my liquid lipsticks and I'm now collecting these. The picture is of Finale. The original one I bought is Couture. They are very similar. I would say Finale is a touch more red and Couture is a touch more pink. I also tried Iconic and it is almost my natural lip color. Unfortunately it has a shimmer to it. If it was matte I would wear it alone but with the shimmer I can't get the 1980's out of my head so I will wear it under my dry formula matte lipstick to sheer out their color.

When Revlon got rid of their Liquid Lipstick line back in 2002, and got rid of their original Colorstay line back in 2003, I swore off drugstore brands and went to the department stores. From 2004 to 2010 I used to be a high end lipstick girl. MAC was my go-to, back when they were $16 a tube. Every now and then I'd splurge for Stila, or Clinique, or Estee Lauder at $18-$22 a tube. Then Revlon released the new Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick line and I bought one in every color and never went back to MAC. Then they came out with the Ultimate Suede lipstick line. I like lipsticks that don't transfer. I am not a fan of the ultra matte look that most brands are pushing, so I stick with these because there is a satin finish to them. I like MOST of the colors of the Ultimate Suede line. When I bought these in 2018, I kind of went crazy on National Lipstick Day (it was my excuse, don't judge. I got them all for less than what Walmart sells them for) and bought one in nearly every color. I'm not kidding. I have about 10 or 12 of these guys. I like that they don't transfer after it sets. I like that they feel comfortable and not super drying. I like that they have almost full coverage, but some shades are more sheer than they are full coverage. All in all, I like these. I know there are some people out there that really hate this line and this finish, but Revlon, hear me out guys. You should have me be your PR for this line and the Ultimate Liquid Lipstick, because I live and breathe this line and wear it EVERY DAY. And please bring back your original Colorstay formulas from the late 90s and early 2000s. I miss the Moccachino and Fruit Punch, and the original Nude colors you had.

Not as drying as the other Colorstay formula, but still drying. It dries out my lips and makes them look really wrinkled. I put it on at bedtime so that it's worn off by morning but leaves tint on my lips.

My favorite lipstick, so sad sometimes the price increases a lot, but its worth it

Tolle Lippenfarbe, hält lange, sehr ergiebig. Leider ist geht der Verschluß schnell ab und das Plastik rund um den Lippenstift hält wesentlich weniger lang als der Lippenstift. Der Stift geht oft von selbst auf in der Tasche.

I've had quite a lot of (positive) experience with Revlon now, and this is a very good product for the price especially. I was looking for a lipstick that looks the same on the lips as it does on the stick itself. It's very much the same colour, so I'm satisfied. It does transfer a tiny bit for the first ten minutes of wearing it, but this can be prevented by making sure you gently remove excess product with a bit of kitchen roll. "ColorStay" matches this lipstick very well. I've been eating and drinking with this, and it stays put. The colour still looks amazing, and my lips feel "naked" - no sticking when pressing the lips together, no drying of the lips, both of which makes the product good for any occasion. I'm very, very impressed. One should notice that it IS a matte lipstick, so if you're looking for a little shine without applying another product, this isn't for you. - TL;DR - PROS: - Same colour on lips as product shows. - Doesn't dry/flake. - Colour stays after eating/drinking. - Light and pleasant taste/smell. - Doesn't transfer after a while. CONS: - Transfers once after drying.

Me encanta este lápiz labial, por su textura, su color que además le da un toque brillante resaltando los labios, la durabilidad en tus labios. Llevo más de 4 años usando la misma marca y no pienso cambiar.

I love this lipstick - it stays on my lips and not on my wine glass! Revlon have discontinued my favourite colour though, but I found it through Amazon, hurrah!!
