I got these mainly for curling my hair, and they actually do a really nice job! The plates glide smoothly, and I’ve been able to get both sleek straight looks and soft curls without any tugging. It heats up super fast and the variable heat settings are great depending on what I’m doing with my hair that day. The plates get nice and hot, but also the outer edges can get pretty hot too, so I’ve learned to be a bit careful around my scalp. It comes with a really decent heatproof pouch which is perfect for storing it after use, and the long cable makes it easy to move around without feeling restricted. Overall, I’m really happy with it. It arrived with some chips in the outer casing. It doesn't alter the use of the straightners thankgoodness but I tried raising a complaint with Amazon and they offered a return for a refund. I couldn't be bothered with that as they do a good job, so I'll just reflect the defects in this review. I would have been upset if this was a gift for someone else. The box and everything it came in was not damaged at all so it must have happened during manufacturing. Anyway, probs best not to buy as a gift but if it's for personal use, I'd recommend them. My hair is thick and I used the middle heat setting and it straightened my hair no problem, didn't even need to section my hair either. Great value for money I'd say.

I have long thick hair which is prone to kinks and frizz. These glide perfectly and cope well with my hair leaving it straight and silky.

I'd rate these hair straighteners five stars just on the basis that the switch is placed inside the hair straighteners where you don't risk accidentally knocking the heating setting every time you straighten a segment of hair. But honestly, they are great! I have really frizzy curly hair and I can't believe how straight my hair looks. I struggle with a lot of hair straighteners because of problems with my hands. It's really difficult to find a pair of straighteners that are easy to hold - where I'm not knocking the switch because the switch is so poorly placed and where they aren't sliding around in my hands. These are absolutely perfect! So ergonomic, so easy to hold and so comfortable in my hands. And I love the colour and the heat mat that they provide. Really worth the money!
