Ugh. Gross. Really ugly, plastic product. Not up to Grohe's usual standards. Skip this one completely.

Simple but fragile.
Water fittings are well made metal but housing/cradle isplastic. It's not an issue if you are aware.

Overpriced Plastic Part
Like other reviews mentioned the shower holder is cheap plastic, only the water connection is metalYou can find generic brands that are solid brass for 75% less.

Expected more.
I was expecting more than a shiny piece of plastic for $80.00. The connector is brass, but the holder is plastic, which will take all the abuse.

Chromed plastic
Paid $75 to find a shiny piece of plastic covering a very nicely finished solid brass elbow. Sent it back. Hard to justify the expense when there are other brands selling solid brass fittings at a similar pricepoint.
