HEALTHFULS Real Dried Sweet Potato Slices, Grain Free Dog Treats, 16 oz

Sweet potatoes went over well with my doxie. Some of the pieces are quite large for a small dog, so I just cut them. One of his favorites and very healthy.

My 6.5 month old puppy loves these sweet potato chews! When you open the bag they smell fresh, which is lovely! They are very chewy and also very “sticky” and I find she struggles to get them out of her teeth. I find that if I cut them up into 1/4” strips and then cut the strips into cubes, she has less of an issue. I still love them for two reasons: First, because they are a quality healthy treat that she loves! Second, because they are a very good value (especially if you subscribe for a monthly delivery)! One bag easily lasts us a month. (Also, while the size of the chews in the bag vary, I am quite pleased that the slices are easily recognizable as sweet potato’s! Some of the slices are huge so I only give her 1/2 or even 1/4 of the slice! Loooooove these!)

My frenchie is a chunk and only gets fed once a day. But she gets a couple of these treats every evening. She is SO excited when she gets one, she races around the house with it until she finds a good spot to savor it. I love these treats for her

We just started purchasing these for our 2 small dogs, as they were gaining weight on the more non healthy treats , and we thought sweet potato was about as basic as we could go and they still would think it was a treat. The sizes vary per bag, we have had some bags with large pieces that can be cut into multiple treats, but then the last bag we got all the pieces seemed small. Both our dogs like them, they are easy to chew, and have a great texture to them. They do not smell chemically like some treats can. I would say if you want a healthy forward treat try these.

I do not really review items at all however, got a new puppy was looking for some treats and this has become our go to! We blow through a bag less than two weeks. The puppy thoroughly enjoys it American Labrador retriever about eight weeks old. These are now officially on subscription.

My dog loves these. However, they are very chewy and they are large pieces, so caution for certain dogs!! I would definately take scissors and cut them in half before giving to your pup.
