Cellar Made Anova Sous Vide Silicone Lid (NOT Nano) for a 10 Inch Stockpot | Zero Evaporation for Extended Cook Time (Black - 11 Inches)

I bought this cover to use on a instant pot insert the cover fits perfectly over the pot so I set my sous vide stick at 165° for 4 hours put the cover on and 4 hours later I have no moisture loss the water level was exactly the same normally when I sous vide chicken thighs and the device is set at 165°. I normally have some kind of water evaporation but it appears with this new cover for the instant pot insert I've solved that problem

I like having a snug silicone cover when using my sous vide cooker, or to keep the water clean between uses! The diameter of the metal part of my cooker that goes into the water is 2 3/8” and the pot I use is 9” inside diameter. This fits nicely. It could probably go up to a 10” diameter pot, but you do need it to stick out a bit for support so not 11”.

This cover works perfectly and is exactly as described. It is so nice to add this to an existing pot instead of having to buy another container to cook in.

I have finally been able to use the Silicone Lid with my Anova Sous Vide and am extremely impressed with it. I use it with a 10" 12 quart pot and it fits perfectly. Had it run for two days straight without any water loss. I would have no problem recommending this to anyone interested in it. It is simple, well made, rather cheap and gets the job done. I use this in conjunction with the SO-VIDA Sous Vide Insulation Band and Mat on my stock pot.

We have not had the opportunity to cook anything with this device. I'm sure it will work very well. The fit around the Anova could have been better, but that does not seem to be a showstopper. Our old clips would not work with any lid and we had to get some inexpensive binder clips that allow folding the handles out of the way.

Bought this to cover my sous vide while it was cooking to hold steam in and keep my nosy cats out while in use on my counter. Works well

No more fussing with plastic wrap or wet towels. My first use was a 72 hour cook and I could check on my chuck roast (which is now like a rib eye steak) and not have to waste plastic wrap. Lost a very minimal amount of water, didn't have to refill once. Should have done this a long time ago. Thank you.

We got for the anova nano and even though this says it's NOT for that version, it works just fine! Maybe it has a slightly tighter seal on the full size, but we had no issues at all and it kept all the water in. Very handy tool and helped us avoid buying all the special sous vide tubs. We just put this on top of a pot on the counter instead

There are 2 design problems with this product. Firstly it is soft material and very pliable. Secondly there are ridges on top to give it some rigidity but not enough. The result is it droops in the middle especially when hot. This causes the edge to recede from around the sous vide device and on the opposite side. So if your pot is exactly 11 inches this doesn't really work well. It might be OK for a 10 inch pot. The result is steam still escapes which is what this thing is supposed to prevent. You can solve it by placing plastic wrap across the pot first thus negating the reason to by this thing in the first place.

For small to medium sized pots this works very well overall. I wish it came in a slightly larger size to fit large stockpots. I like to clip my bags to the side of the pot regardless of whether they are vacuum sealed or zip-lock, but you can't directly clip to the pot with this cover (as with any lid honestly) as it won't seal on the pot lip over the clips. A work-around is to use longer bags, hang them over the pot, put the lid on, and clip only to the flap of bag outside the pot. It seals very well around the Anova, and I would give it a 5 star (particularly for the price) if it was literally just another inch or so in diameter bigger.

It’s a good product, if a bit overpriced. No complaints about the product, but a similar item can be found at my local Dollar store for a fraction of the price.

It’s perfect for any pot stock most people Have at home without buying expensive equipment. But it’s on the pricier side for a piece of plastic

Fit perfectly on an instant pot. Having the pot inside the instant pot will also retain heat. Saved $100 from buying ANOVA container or made a DYI version. It also saves counter space by using what I already have.
