Great
Got a used product but works great and is in like new condition like mentioned. Only thing is it didn't come with the steelbook but it was a good thing I didn't mind because I was actually trying to find one for this price just didn't really think I wanted the steelbook but it ended up not coming with one. so if you think you do want the steelbook I not sure this is the legit one to get that unless it was unused.

Incredibly Mediocre... Intensely Underwhelming...
A-OK! Picked up a great deal here. Played ACIV first, then decided to get this to follow the story a bit more.Parental Disclaimer: There is blood, and violence abound! Not much in the way of cussing and no nudity. God forbid someone leaves a one star review because they bought this for their 6 year old and found out there's a guy with ax hacking up British soldiers. So to the meat and bones:Graphics are essentially that of the previous AC games and Prince of Persia series. Having played ACIV first, it's not as pretty or polished at ACIV (sad right?). The game looks good though. There are some minor clipping issues with larger weapons and some buildings and tree lines don't load out depending on where you're standing, but nothing so bad the game won't play. The game has a slightly different control scheme from the previous AC games. The programmers made it a bit easier by just having you hold down the free run button to run and climb and so forth as oppose to pressing just to climb. It's like the generic mobility button. Want to do something or anything for that matter, hold that button. The combat is largely similar to most hack and slash games, but you can freely change up weapons. Hatchets and swords and daggers will all play very differently from one another. There are guns too so you can get in some ranged attacks. The piloting of a ship was introduced in this game for the series. It's awkward and not entirely necessary to the game. So if you played ACIV first you likely won't like the "yachting". About town: good luck! Just walking around town or if you really want to experience the game, running the rooftops of town is bothersome and dangerous and just hard. If you so much as fart crooked the entire British army is after you. I walked past a group of soldiers minding my business when all of sudden I'm on the run then battling them, now they're all dead and there's more coming. Oh wait, what's that, the town crier has alerted everyone (everyone?) EVERYONE! A simple mission like delivering a letter 3 blocks can turn into a 45 minute run from the army.Like I mentioned a few times before, I did play ACIV first. Mostly though because of the story. The events of ACIII take place after ACIV. You initially start the game out as Edward Kenway's son, Hatham. Hatham turns out to be a Templar and eventually the game has you take over as Conner, Hatham's son. Conner is half Native American so the game frequently refers to him in his native name which I won't attempt to spell because it just looks like a cat sat on the key board and the developers said, "That's a great name for him!" The problem with it really comes when you're trying to connect to the character. It's like the new guy at work, and you don't really know what his name is so you just call him "Guy" for 6 months before he realizes you don't know his name and now he thinks you're a jerk. Regardless, "Conner" is a far cry from his original name. The other hard part about connecting with the character is that he's really just so flat and 2D and boring and completely arrogant and naive. He really is a Native American version of Captain America. I hate to say I took another issue with how bulky they made the character. He's built like an Raiders' linebacker. He's massive, yet fleetingly nimble. Able to waltz out on to the thinnest of tree branches without losing balance or snapping a limb. There's treasure in them hills and woods! The "frontier" section of the game (basically the huge part of the map between the disproportionately smaller cities) is insanely large. There's plenty of game hunting which is necessary to craft things and get things to sell. However this is also, to me, where the game falters. It's too big and there isn't much substance to it. Like, the cities could have been bigger and the frontier could have been smaller... I get they were trying to make the frontier seem so vast and unknown like it was in the 1700's but it just sort of missed the mark. There's no easy way to traverse it either. You get a horse, but you can't cross a stream with it. You can travel the tree tops but risk falling and taking serious damage. You could just run it and risk attack from soldiers and EVERY wild animal. I found myself locked in a button mashing battle every 5 steps with elk rather than making any real headway. But there really is treasure in the woods.Where the game really comes together though is the free running and the size of the game as a whole. It's large and there's plenty of roaming around to be done. There's loot and side quests and upgrades and locations to unlock. There's a lot to explore and a lot to explore for. If you find Daniel Boone in the game he'll send you on missions to track down UFO's and Bigfoot and ghosts. The combat is an added bonus to the free running. Jump off a roof to take a guy out. The story is placid and follows the Assassin's Creed storyline for the most part. You're some guy in a virtual reality world and that world is the 1770's in America. So the whole backdrop is the Revolutionary War. So if you're a history buff, the game is awesome. It's half accurate and half wishful thinking.

Very nice
Awesome and no scratches or damage. Way cheaper then GameStop and I Love this series. This one is much different then the previous ones. But the hunting ability on this one is quite interesting. Kind of hard to figure everything out but once I did I enjoyed the game much more

I received this game a day earlier than the earliest date! Looks in good shape and both discs and all documents are in its original case.
