Amazed in how the car runs now! If you have 97 CRV that shifts rough, take note!
The car was hard starting out of the blue. Id seen MAF sensors cause this in the past so I replaced the MAP sensor. The hard starting problem turns out was the ECT(coolant sensor)..as the car later in the day threw a PO118 before it became VERY hard to start. New ECT fixed that immediately but shifting was still rough..until I replaced the MAP sensor, which took literally, 3 minutes to do.Car used to not kick into 2nd gear easily and had to tromp on it to 3rd to get acceleration. Now, shifts normally through 1st into 2nd.Note this 97 CR-V has 530K miles on it so sensors are going to fail, probably alot.

Don't buy this you have a 1 in 10 chance of getting one that'll last you maybe a month better off buying one from an actual parts website changed my old one just for maintenance and this cause a misfire and vacuum leak

Fixed issue as check engine code indicated
97 Honda CR-V seems to be running better after replacing MAP sensor as the check engine light showed. Good value compared to what the auto parts store charged.

Did not work for my vehicle
Bought this for my 2001 Integra GSR that had a rough idle. After I installed this sensor, I had a hard time trying to start the vehicle. Once I got it to start, my idle was still surging and the engine would stall 30 seconds or so later. Bought one from advanced auto and fixed the issue.
