Great tooth powder at a reasonable price!
Received this tooth powder last week. It has a mild taste, but cleans my teeth very well. I first used it at night, and in the morning, I didnt have that fuzzy tooth feeling. Here are the pros, as I see them so far: A little goes a long way, so I can see this jar lasting a good 4 months or so; The manufacture date marked on the jar was just a few days prior to my receiving it (product is fresh); Handy scoop is included with the powder, so I don't need to dip my brush into the jar; My teeth look and feel cleaner for a longer period of time; The powder doesn't tear up the inside of my mouth, like other powders have; There is no film left in my mouth after brushing, like so many other clay baste tooth cleaners leave; Finally, I love the idea of supporting a small business! I have been using this product for less than a week, so I will update my review if I notice any changes. So far, I am very pleased! I was using a different tooth powder, but it became too expensive for me, so I decided to take a chance on this one. I'm so glad I did! 12/29/19 update: Still using this tooth powder every day. One jar lasts me about 6 months! The consistency with each order is spot on. My gums are heathier and my teeth are looking great! Update 11-14-21: I've been using this tooth powder since June 2018. I just received my 6th jar. It lasts a long time! I still love this powder, and appreciate the time and care the seller takes in creating/packaging this product. My teeth are whiter (coffee and teas stains are gone), and my gums are healthy. I will continue to use this product as long as it's available.

Great toothpaste
Very nice option if you want to use a better toothpaste. A little goes a long way and it makes your teeth feel super smooth afterwards.

Excellent: Decreased Sensitivity, Whitening, and More
Now, I don't know anything about the "remineralizing" aspect of this but I bought this for one purpose and it fulfilled that purpose. Actually, it went above and beyond. I'd been using Tom's of Maine toothpaste for a while before switching over to this. Though it felt a lot better to use Tom's than Crest, my teeth were still pretty sensitive. I heard about remineralizing tooth powders and was intrigued because I knew I had some cavities slowly forming. I did some research I walked away very skeptical about the remineralization process but decided I'd still like to try a tooth powder. I chose this one because the price was right and because it has bentonite clay and calcium carbonate in it. Also, it's just so simple and natural. You're brushing your teeth with peppermint-flavored earth. (The peppermint isn't too strong and, yes, it does taste like dirt and I quite like it.) I bought this product because I hoped that it would ease the sensitivity in my teeth. It did. I've been using it for about a month and a half now. There was the occasional pain in my teeth while brushing for the first week or so of using it but they've never hurt since - not while brushing, not while eating or drinking something really cold, not when eating toffee, nothing, never. On top of that, my teeth feel really clean after brushing and remain feeling clean for quite a while. What really surprised me was how white my teeth have become while using this product. Even some dark spots that may have indicated cavities-in-the-making seemed to have lightened. Does this indicate remineralization? Maybe. Maybe these lightened spots and the decreased sensitivity are exactly what remineralization is all about. I'm not going to make any claims one way or another because I really have no clue. You'll have to see for yourself.

I will never go back to the standard toothpaste
I fairly recently heard about tooth powders and my senior teeth were not looking so hot even though I get regular dental cleanings. Well! This is quite unbelievable. I love the taste. I chose peppermint. My 6 month dental appointment is in one week. Before I switched to tooth powders, I was getting my teeth cleaned every 2 months because of the severe tarter build up. Since using this powder, not only can I wait 6 months but I can see very little tarter for them to scrape off. In case my old eyes aren't seeing so hot and I don't quite trust them, I will keep my appointment next week and see what the hygienist says and will update this review. She has been brainwashed that fluoride is good for your teeth and I have been trying to convince her otherwise. I refuse their fluoride treatments. She is so not used to people refusing that! Fluoride is not a part of what our teeth are made of. There is no fluoride naturally in the human body. Someone once said "it is easier to fool a person than convince them they have been fooled". That is so true about so many things where people are misled and so sad. This does not make my teeth feel squeaky clean like toothpastes do so I brush more often using this which could be the reason I have so little tarter.

Didn’t clean my teeth well (sorry to say)...
It’s a very nice product but has a difficult time getting the harder spots really Clean on teeth. I feel like it does a nice “cleansing” but NOT a “deep clean” like my normal toothpaste does. I’m kind of addicted to Doterra‘s essential oil onguard cinnamon toothpaste. It’s super gentle, natural and works perfectly Against plaque and any type of build up. If I don’t feel perfectly clean teeth after I have brushed, then I know the tooth POWDER didn’t work. I did NOT have a perfectly clean feeling after using this tooth powder, I’m very sad to say. I was hoping it would work. Also, it’s a little bit more work to mess with the powder. I recommend that they create a TOP That is more like a flip up CAP On the top of the lid versus having to have your toothbrush IN HanD WHILE HOLDING your toothbrush WETTING your toothbrush, unscrewing the LID AND TRYING NOT TO KNOCK THE POWDER CONTAINER OFF THE COUNTER. 👍 It might save two little steps up by creating a fliptop in my opinion. This is the way you can at least open and close the container one handedly. Hope this information is helpful. Thanks 🙏

Seriously rocked my world
I've never had great teeth and have always kept my eyes on products that may assist in keeping me away from the dentist drill. However, I live a more natural lifestyle and will not subject myself, and my family, to toxic chemicals (i.e., fluoride, SLS, parabens, etc.). Needless to say, I was overly skeptical that a powder could compete with a natural toothpaste and remineralize, but it worked better than I could ever imagine. The texture didn't turn me off, like I thought it would, and the peppermint flavor was nice. The size of the can was quite good, and I was very impressed that the product preparation date was the same day I ordered it. Now, for the best part - it's performance. My teeth have never felt so clean. Every time I use it I feel as if I just got out of the dentist's chair for a cleaning. My teeth are incredibly smooth, and my old toothpaste could never give me these results. I'm also noticing that some small stains I have are getting lighter and lighter and my teeth are whiter in general. It has got me excited about leveling up my oral hygiene game, and I'm incredibly happy with the product. It has now replaced my old toothpaste, and I'm never looking back!

Abrasion Concerns
I really want to like this tooth powder. I appreciate the simplicity, and seeming purity, of the ingredients. And I can live with the disappointing absence of a refreshing taste in my mouth after brushing with it. (Even though the unopened, sealed jar arrived smelling strongly of peppermint oil in such a concentrated + overwhelming way that it made me queasy, the actual taste it puts + leaves in my mouth is flat and faint.) But my far more serious concern is that, even after I make a paste by blending the powder with water or coconut oil -- a mix that feels smooth enough to the finger or tongue -- it actually still contains a surprisingly hard and non-dissolving grit that is very detectable when I bite down on it (otherwise I would be completely unaware of it). That grit may be fine, but it is nonetheless HARD! (I imagine it's from the ground limestone listed in the ingredients.) I am willing to bet, just from the feel of it when I bite down, that it's significantly harder than exposed dentin -- which many of us have from recession and wear -- and that's what I understand is at even greater risk of seriously damaging abrasion than the enamel is. From what I've been reading, the harder the particles, the more abrasive they're likely to be (measured in RDA, or Relative Dentin Abrasivity). So, even if you buy into the idea that ground limestone (!) is gentle enough for your enamel, that doesn't help with the far more vulnerable exposed dentin. So, all I can say is, this was a pretty expensive product -- and now I am afraid to continue using it.
