Works well… if you have time
This reusable pod worked well in my Nespresso Virtuo machine (2.4 size), and it produced a smooth double espresso with lots of creama (Illy dark espresso). However, be advised the coffee needs to be properly ground, weighed, and gently packed into the pod (as packing it too densely will not produce a good shot). The pod is very hot after brewing, so wait a while before fishing it out of Virtuo’s used pod container.Virtuo had no issues reading the pod and ejecting it. The only issue is the amount of effort it takes yo make a shot. If you’ve got time and want to use your favorite coffee then it’s great.Pictures illustrating a double shot espresso:1) scale without pod shows zero2) place empty pod on scale, shows pod weight3) zero out “tare” of empty pod4) load pod with 7 grams of coffee5) tamp pod6) screw cover on pod7) place pod in Nespresso Virtuo unit8) brew9) remove cup and apply creamer or frothed milkRetrieve pod (when cool), unscrew top, empty grounds, and wash.

These capsule look great and work fine, but...
I had figured out how to reuse my expended Nespresso Vertuo capsules with my own coffee since the first week I owned it. So when I saw these stainless steel reusable capsules I got very excited and quickly bought a 70ml espresso pod. While these capsules look fantastic, and work in the Nespresso Vertuo machine, they can be difficult to unscrew. Once opened, I filled the capsule with my favorite grounds but the espresso seems under extracted to me.I pulled two shot of espresso, one reusing a Nespresso double espresso pod and another using the Blusea capsule and the taste from the stainless capsule is noticeably weaker. I'm not sure what the issue is, if it just that the capsule doesn't hold the enough espresso grounds for the shot of espresso it pulls.Lastly, when running the stainless steel capsule in the Nespresso machine it becomes ridiculously loud. It sound's like the machine is struggling to push the water through the capsule but the stream of espresso coming out look steady. While I love the look and concept of these stainless steel capsule I don't know if I'll continue to use it in my machine.

It works!!
It worked!! After reading the reviews, I considered this purchase to be highly experimental. This morning, I took the newly-arrived capsule and filled it tightly with coffee. I reset the Nespresso machine to factory settings by pressing the button 5 times. The capsule came with little rubber bands and I put one around where the seal would be. Then I screwed it together tightly and inserted it. Coffee came out with crema! And with taste. It is weaker than what came inside the pods. But not weaker than I am used to producing in my French press. The coffee is medium ground, and I should look into fine grinds for completeness. I am thrilled!

For me, it just made a single cup of coffee
There were no taste highlights to speak of and there was no crema at all, as you can see in my picture. It was easy to clean but for me the messy part was getting the coffee in and screwing the two parts together before there was too much spillage. Stainless seems solid but the threads are incredibly cheaply made. Very difficult to align for either attaching or detaching which will lead to cross threads soon for many, I would think.

Beautiful design and high quality!
I love my Nespresso machine, but wanted the option to use some local coffee, so I got this coffee capsule to try. It is so nice and easy to use. The capsule is very high quality and I'm sure it will last a very long time. I also like being able to use the coffee for compost. I am going to order another of these as a gift. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a reusable Nespresso capsule!

Disappointed
Great concept. Unfortunately you have to shut off the brewing process after about 5 or 6 ounces otherwise your coffee will be much too weak. I've tried 6 different espresso coffees and grinds and nothing works. Was really hoping this would give me a nice 8 oz cup of coffee. Even bought one for my niece. She's had the same frustrations. So disappointing.

The pod does NOT work as described.
I tried the metal pod 4 times and it does not work. It clogs. The water sipping through for a cup is reduced to a third of a cup. The description of the product does not match its performance. I used enough times but I cannot get a single cup of coffee.I should be entitled to a refund. This is a lot of money for a pod that is poorly made and does not perform its function.

Nope
I don't know what's going on with the design of this, but the coffee came out very weak, almost undrinkable for someone who likes a strong brew. It seemed to have a hard time getting through the mechanism at all, because it came out in a very thin, pale stream despite my having used freshly ground dark roast beans. So pretty much a complete fail that I won't bother using again.
