There are MANY recipes in this book. I thought I was just replacing my lost, smaller Pilsbury cookbook, but this book is different with many more recipes.

While we may cook a meal for just ourselves, baking is rarely a solo endeavor. We bake to spend time together on a snowy Sunday afternoon; to celebrate a win; to come together for a holiday; and to mark the milestones in our lives. When I look back over the past twenty-plus years, I see this cookbook in so many of my cherished memories. Fall gatherings at the family farm with Salted Peanut Chews. Thanksgivings with Pumpkin Cheesecake. Christmas Eve around the tree with Peanut Blossoms and colorful Spritz cookies. Christmas morning with fresh-from-the-oven Caramel Rolls. For years I made my best friend Soft & Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies every year on her birthday.I can only imagine all the hard work that went in to creating a cookbook of this magnitude. The recipes are clear, easy to follow, and timeless. They turn out perfectly each time and have repeatedly brought joy to me and my extended family. I'm grateful for this book and the people who created it. Looking for a little extra joy in your life? Buy this book. I love it so much I'm on my second copy.

Everything I have made from pillsbury's baking book has been a success. If you never owned a baking book. Especially new brides and grooms. This the book to buy.

Book was in perfect condition

I've had this book since it was new in the store, and my mother sent it to me for my birthday one year. It has since been used and so well-loved that the spine is broken, all the pages are falling out, and it automatically opens to my favorite recipes (pumpkin bread, sour cream coffee cake, cinnamon rolls). My husband bought me another copy used last year for christmas, but I refuse to open it because I still have the pages for the old falling-apart one, even if they are covered in flour, sugar and butter, and if all the pages are falling out! This is my all-time favorite go-to recipe book: the recipes are far superior to those in my King Arthur baking books for quick breads, cookies and tender yeast items. The KA book has repeatedly disappointed me with tough and dry baked goods, but the Pillsbury book always delights me with tender moist goodies! I wish it were not out of print, but I am glad that copies are still available second-hand! A must-buy for any casual baker you know. The recipes are delightful.

After my dog ate my original cookbook I was so happy to find it still available. This is a great cookbook, easy to follow and really beautiful photos. So glad to have this new book.
