Biatain Silicone Adhesive Foam Dressing 10cm x 10cm Pack of 5

I came across these as a dressing when nurses used them, first for my mother and then my father. If you, or those you care for has delicate skin which tears these are a must. I used them recently on my father who had torn large chunks of skin right off his arms when falling. They are fantastic in terms of staying on long enough to give the body enough time to start growing back skin. They also are padded so reduce the risk of further damage and absorbent. They do cost a lot more than plasters but be assured they are nothing like plasters in quality and use. Not something to use on everyday cuts and grazes but really work on wounds that are not quite bad enough to justify a visit to the doctor.

Excellent product

My wife managed to get a nasty gash on her arm and it was taking time to heal. These dressings have a soft skin friendly silicone edge and adhesive. The dressing pad is well cushioned and very absorbent . These are very similar to the market leader of this type of dressing but at a more reasonable price point. I can recommend these as they have definitely help my wife's arm heal and the cushioning they provide helps if you accidentally catch the area that's injured.

Good product, does the job, but expensive.

Great dressings. Soft and easy to get off. Well made.

Bought these as back up ones used elsewhere which do not seem that waterproof nor do they stay on. These do, so glad I have them & feel more secure when going out.

Just what we needed.

Very soft, protective and gentle on the skin. I always make sure I have a few to hand just in case.
