This soap is great for anyone with allergies or sensative skin. As a bonus, this soap doesn't contain any of the biotoxins you typically find in other soaps, which is great for anyone wanting to reduce exposure to harmful chemicals. The only concern is the vagueness of one of the ingredients; "essential oils" could be anything and it would be nice to have the specific oils listed. Otherwise my only problem was keeping it dry and airtight. I've been keeping it in a plastic container in the shower. The one time I didn't close the lid all the way, it got some water trapped in it. By the time I realized the next day, half of the soap was a dark almost black color and squishy. I wish I knew how to fix that. Overall it's a good soap. Definitely the best I've ever used. I put it on an exfoliating cloth and afterwards I feel squeeky clean. Really, there's nothing better out there. Even amongst other African black soaps, this one was the only one that didn't have any allergens.

Lather is very soapy, good for cleaning, good ingredients, and value for the money.

First of all, the scent is NOT earthy..it smells like burnt motor oil. Second, it burnt my face so bad that it took nearly an hour for the redness to subside, and lastly, it dries my skin and definitely won't work for washing my hair. I have to wonder about all the good reviews on here. Doesn't feel like there's any Shey butter in it. Going to try Allafia black soap next. I gave this 3 stars because it has a decent lather

I can't believe I bought this soap 2 years ago and I'm finally finished with it. I only used it on my face that's probably why it lasted so long. A little goes a long way and you definitely don't want to use a lot because your face will feel super dry. I mostly used it to dry my pimples. In two days my pimples would dry up and then disappear. It dries out your face so put some lotion on and you'll be fine. It didn't reduce my acne but it dried it up. Also, I started noticing my pores looking a bit larger. The soap is brown, obviously, so I assumed it could have been that some of it got stuck in my pores.

My African black soap ran out during the Coronavirus pandemic. Usually, I purchase my soap from an authentic shop. But with everything closed, I searched online. This soap is just as authentic as I would have wanted. My skin feels wonderful and soft. To make it better, my order came unexpectedly fast for the circumstances. Whilst everything else was backed up, this came quickly! Thank you so much!

I have bad body acne and oh my god this is a MIRACLE worker. It's also much cheaper than the other black African soap I've found in-person. Love this company and will for sure buy more products from y'all 😁👍
