So far, so good
I looked at a lot of video monitors online and after much comparison, I went for this one. I couldn't justify paying 200-300 for a baby monitor with all of the other stuff that you need with a new baby on the way. So far, it works well but only about a week old for me. The features are easy to use.Has:Night Vision seems to work well (actual night vision with infrared - not just shining LED's on the baby)Color ScreenGood range with 2.4GHz (although I haven't pushed it yet in a smaller house)Rechargeable battery (although I was up in the air about this because they eventually go out and cost much more to replace)Ability to turn LCD off but maintain audionightlight (but i don't see ever using it - especially because I will have to use the wall mount to see over the crib and the on/off is under the camera base of the camera)Doesn't have:Batteries for the Camera (I thought it did but I looked at a lot of them before going with this one so surely my oversight but I thought that would be nice for freedom of movement)Screen saver - I was hoping the monitor screen would have auto shutoff but it is on or off only.So far I like it for the value but my little one isn't even hear yet so I am really hoping for longevity! We'll see...but so far it seems like a good buy for features vs. cost.

Levana ClearVu Digital Video Baby Monitor
We purchased the video monitor because it was becoming increasingly harder to let son cry himself to sleep at night, instead of just giving in and letting him sleep with us. This monitor gave my husband and I some piece of mind, and let us see that our son was just simply upset from the separation and not in any danger. The monitor has a fairly good range and the image quality is very good. The only drawbacks is the audio quality and the short battery time when using the video. There is a lot of background noise, almost a feedback, especially when you turn up the volume. The monitor just doesn't sit there quietly, like with most audio baby monitors. Although when my son would wake up, you could clearly hear him with the monitor. Overall it was most definitely worth the money, to know our son is safe at night!

Still works after 4 years of abuse
We got this Monitor when our baby was first born over 3 1/2 years ago. The video picture has faded somewhat, but overall the thing still works!! I am so shocked that after almost 4 years we still have this monitor and it's still works. We have had some problems with it, but they are minor in my mind. Sometimes the picture would freeze, but all you have to do is turn it off and back on. The picture is also has a bit more static now, but again we use this monitor every single day at least twice a day. I can;t tell you how many times we have dropped this thing as well...so for it to be still working after almost 4 years is great in mind!!

Just ok
My husband and I purchased this monitor for two reasons. One b/c we are expecting another little one in April and two b/c we wanted something to watch our toddler with while we transition him to his "big boy bed". I purchased the monitor based on the reviews from Amazon and found that the product didn't meet our expectations. I mounted the camera in a corner of my sons room in order to get a good view of his bed and some of the floor. Unfortunately the night vision was so shotty that I couldn't make out where is was in his bed. This may be due to the fact that Levana says the night vision is best when the camera is no more than 10 feet from what you want to view. I did try to just set the camera on his dresser which was approximately 8 feet from his bed, but again the night vision wasn't very clear. I also noticed that there was some static pulse like feed back in the sound portion of the monitor. We do have wireless internet and cordless phones so I am not sure if this may have been the culprit. I also didn't like the fact that there wasn't a button to turn on the camera only the switch on the side of the unit which was not terribly difficult to find, but just not at easy to use. My husband and I ended up going with a summer infant monitor that had better overall video quality. The night vision on the Levana may work just fine for closer observation of little ones in cribs, however it didn't meet our needs for our toddler's safety.

Watches the House When I'm in the Shower
My husband and I are sixtyish, and have to rent out our front bedroom to break even. We'd been noticing things missing, and I'd written it off to my mistake. One day, however, our room renter didn't see me dodge into the living room for something, and he went toward my purse. Later, when I checked, I was missing forty dollars. (I'd been "misplacing" money for months.) We got this baby monitor and set it up in the kitchen (and found our roomie was taking what food/drink he pleased), set it up in the living room when I was in the shower and saw him dipping into my purse, etc. When I'm completely alone now (we're in a back house), I deadbolt the back door and aim the camera at the front door to make sure nobody tries to come in. I feel a lot safer when I'm alone, and we've caught our thief.

Nice for intended purpose
I haven't really had to use this much yet but I did test it out with my nearly two year old daugher and my wife. We haven't had any quals so far but I did have some trouble getting the right angle for the camera. I'm currently renting my home and didn't have much choice as to where I could place the unit so I had to do a lot of adjusting to get it so I could see the whole bed. I don't think you can get just the right angle unless you ave some tall dressor to place the camera on or some book shelf maybe. I still think it is a good buy for those looking to get a decently priced monitor. Just be aware of the room you will place it into and what kind of angle you want to view your child from.

Works good.
For the price this unit works well, I can hear and see my baby just fine with no real humming noises from the unit itself. I suppose if you had a problem hearing the baby you could move the camera closer to where the baby sleeps and I'm sure the half second delay in the sound is to prevent feed back when the unit gets too close to the camera.

VERY DISAPPOINTED
This monitor has been a big disappointment from the day we got it. It has never worked properly, randomly turning off in the middle of the night and not knowing if our baby had been up. Some days it would take several attempts to get it to turn on. Finally, it quit working completely and I had to send it back under warranty, which was not a very convenient process. They debited my credit card to send out a new monitor until they could determine that my old monitor was defective and a few weeks later, I stilll have not seen the refund, AND to top it all off, the new monitor(that I had to pay for again) does not work either!! It still randomly turns off in the middle of the night, and will only work if it is plugged in directly to the power cord. Terrible product!!!

Good but with points to watch out for
Image is clear works well day and night, the only thing is static noise is quite loud, this is the 2nd one that i own the first is the labview one which is slightly more expensive than this one, same company. But the other one is virtually noise free. Anyone know how to fix the noise problem?

Love it!
We are so pleased with this monitor. It gives us such peace of mind to be able to keep an eye on the baby whether we're upstairs or downstairs. Even when we traveled for a family event it was peace of mind to be able to take it along and keep an eye on her regardless of where we were in the house. Wouldn't be without it.

shipping
working great, and when I had a bit of difficulty with it, the problems were resolved overnight, via email! I wished that I could have gone to pick the product up, as it was shipped from a place only 10 minutes from my house, and could have saved $$.
