I used these stencils to make a wood “Welcome” sign as a house-warming gift for a friend. They worked great and I think my sign looks professional—I took a picture for you so you can be the judge how how you like it. The 4.3” height of the upper case letters was perfect for my sign.I really like the script font—it’s classy. I was careful in centering each letter. They are not all the same width—for example, “M” is a little wider than “E” due to the curlicues.The stencils are a flexible plastic and thin enough to paint a “clean” stencil but thick enough to be washable. I just put them in a pan of water in the kitchen sink for a few minutes and then used my kitchen dish brush to lightly scrub them with soapy water. They came clean fairly easily and are ready for my next project. I was careful not to bend them but they’re not too fragile. UPDATE: the best and easiest way to clean these stencils is to wipe/rinse them off immediately after using, when the paint is still wet.I am happy with these stencils and recommend them!If my review was helpful, please let Amazon know by clicking “helpful.” Thanks!

These stencils are perfect for lettering on wood. I needed something I could trace and wood burn. The stencils are thick, sturdy, and easy to use.

I used the letter stencils for painting a sign on an old barn board. Letters look beautiful; I had a difficult time keeping a few of the letters from moving around. My sign, however turned out beautifully!

I have used the letters to make my own sayings. They are a perfect size (large is what I wanted) and look great when put together. Good quality of plastic and can be reused. I make sure I take letters well before I start painting.

These are okay to trace but seeps through with paint. Also pretty flimsy and crackable if not careful.
