Right PA for what were doing. Good power, very good sound!
My band "Sell Out" needed a new one so I bought this. We were using 2 other smaller 12 channel boards and powering them. Hated carrying all that stuff around! We all know how much power amps weigh... This is great for the size shows were doing right now! I still have the power amps in case we need them but this has been plenty for now! 200-250 people indoor shows and its perfect. Anything bigger, which we haven't done yet and I would think about using the amps. We used it for an outdoor show once where there was a little over 250 people but it was fine without the need for the extra power. We`ve had no complaints from bar or club owners yet about being to loud or to low lol So the headroom is fine for us. We are a 5 piece band with trombone, sax, lead singer, bass, guitar, drums and we all mic our instruments and we pretty much all sing back ground vocals. This works great for mixing everything down and it gives us spot-on the sound and power we need and want. Its so simple to use anyone can get a great sound! Our Lead singer loves it! I`m the guitarist and keep it close to me so I can always reach over and give something a slide up or down when its needed. Singer likes having the 2 separate channels. 1 we keep his vocals on and the other we use for the backing vocals. Plus I can always give him a little more or less of whatever it is he wants so quick and easy! We run 2 750w RMS JBL 18in dumps and 2 15in 1000w RMS 2 way mains that I custom built for front of house and use 3 Peavey 12in 550w RMS 2 way monitors, 1 for the drummer and 2 for front of stage. Everything we run FOH are 4ohm and the stage monitors are 8ohm. Check us out online at facebook and youtube. Our name is Sell Out. BTW the surround sound on these Behringer PA`s is awesome. I`m 50 and have played in many different bands through the years, half have used Behringer equipment of some type and have never had a problem with any of it and have always had a really good sound!. People can say what they want about they`re equipment but the bottom line is, what works and sounds nice is what I will always use, and they`re equipment has always, always done right by me every time I have used it! A few bands I have played in used their equipment while traveling up and down the east coast playing heavy metal. Never had an issue! Love this PA.... For those DJ`s out there, don't hesitate on this one if you catch it in your price range!! And the young bands, WHAT A DEAL! Even the old guys like me, this PA is WELL worth the $580 I got mine for! Keep in mind, you can always add more power, as much as needed.

The quality seems very good as far as knobs and faders etc
I purchase this mixer from Amazon to replace my old 1992 Peavey mixer and cs400 amp that finally bit it. We really only use it for karaoke but I may play in another band someday so I wanted something to be up to the task if this does happen.I am very impressed so far by this mixer. It is very versatile with plenty of inputs and outputs for most applications I can think of.The quality seems very good as far as knobs and faders etc. The voice cancelling works better than I expected but I don't know if we'll really use it.

BANG FOR THE BUCK
I bought the Behringer PMP6000 to use as the main power & mixer for my band... we are a 4 piece band with pro-musicians performing 4 to 5 nights a week. The design of the power section is what drew me to this particular unit... light weight & versitile is a key factor after lugging power amps & a separate mixer around. Everything you need is right there! 12 Channels of XLR inputs are more than what we need (we use 4 vocal microphones, an Acoustic Guitar & Stereo keyboard goes into the 1/4" stereo inputs)with enough power ability to fill a 50'(w)x 100'(l)x 15'(h) hall with pristine sound quality. We are running the unit in stereo into a pair of Peavey PR-5s.The 2 Effect Channels is definitly another bonus, even though we basically use reverb the ability to trim each channel to your liking is great. Each channel has enough tone control to conform to each microphone; the pre-amp trim control adds richness & depth;and the 7 band Graphic EQ is perfect for achieving an overall sound conforming to the room you are playing in plus, the fact you can add on external EQ or effects units makes it even more attractive.THIS IS A GOOD UNIT, BUILT WELL & FLEXIBLE!!!

Perfect and simple solution for Karaoke System
It could be an overkill for Home Karaoke system, but the price is right, the sound and build quality are excellent, then why not?The mixer is pretty chunky for it has 1600-watt built in amp. The way the knobs laid out is pretty intuitiveto use. The colour coded knobs make it even easier for the adjustment at a glance. Everything is well laid, I don'teven need to read the user's manual to set up the unit (But also don't hope much in the manual, if you don'thave a good background in audio system!). I set up one FX processor with Reverb, the other with a little Echo.Vocal came out so pleasantly! It's way better than my outboard Yamaha SPX 900 Multi FX Processor.Occasionally, there was feed back, Glanced at the EQ LED lit knobs I could see which knob was brighter lit, put itdown few db, and voilaĆ, everything's back to normal. The FBQ Feedback Detection System works manually, but so effectively! If you want to build a decent Karaoke system whether for home or commercial use, you should consider this unit,as everything is well intergrated, eliminate the need of outboard processors, amplifier, cables; also avoid humdue to bad cabling. Well made, well sounded and well priced. Highly recommended!
