Very pleased with this product
To start with I'll tell you what kind of dog I have, I have a standard poodle. Her hair will start twisting at a quarter of an inch and if she's allowed to grow to an inch she'll actually have the beginning of dreadlocks. So it's not an easy coat to cut. I've groomed dogs for a lot of years and the best Clipper I ever used was an Oster motor driven Clippers with interchangeable blades, it lasted forever and it was easy to use. However it's also extremely expensive, back when I bought it it was close to $300. I've tried a lot of Clippers since then most with little to no success. When I saw this Clippers I read through a lot of the reviews which were mixed but it was a moderately priced Clipper so I thought what the heck let's give it a try. I have to say I was extremely surprised and pleased with this Clippers. It cut through my dog's coat with ease it did not pull, or tangle in the blades. Using just the blade without the guards you get a clean cut, rather like a 10 blade or a surgical blade. In other words if you're on familiar with the terminology the dog is basically naked, which is what I used on her face and feet and it worked super well. For her body I use the 3mm guide and it left very short hair and was easy to use. The blade snap in firmly do not wiggle or become loose. I had read some of the reviews at the guide slipped off, I can't help but wonder if that person didn't actually snap the guide into place firmly. I had no trouble at all with the guide. Another big plus to this Clippers was the blade did not get hot, the instructions say it is a ceramic blade which would understandably be why the blade not get hot. I was very impressed. My only suggestion for anyone buying this Clippers is if you are unfamiliar how to use a Clippers with a close cut or a blade take some time and familiarize yourself with how to use a clippers. Because of the close blade if you hold that Clippers at the wrong angle you will get too close to the skin, and if you're using a guide and you don't know how to use a guide the hair will not cut well. But that's with any Clippers not just this one. So like I said take some time watch a few videos on how to hold and use a Clippers and I think you will be very satisfied with this product. I am. I would recommend this product highly, excellent Clippers no skin burning guides fit well and I would buy again.

Wow, literally. Best clippers I have found.
So I’ve bought 3 different pairs of cat/dog clippers from Amazon, one got hot and way to noisy , other one was cordless, And barely did anything. But these. 10 stars if I could give it. I have a full grown Maine coon cat and he gets matted behind his legs/side of belly easily. The last two pair didn’t touch getting below the matted hair. This set. Wow. I wasn’t expecting it to come with length guards, I didn’t use them but it’s great having them just in case. Also with blade oil and a brush. But let’s get to how they worked. When I say they cut through my cats hair like butter. I mean it. Absolutely amazing. If anyone knows Maine coon long hair cats. It’s thick! And difficult to get through on a single pass. And these just went to work. They are quiet as well. So no scaring him either. Which is always a plus. Relaxed cat means get more shaved. They did heat up after about 10 minutes of constant use. But nothing dangerous. And you don’t have to worry about the blades getting so close that it will knick the skin. It won’t. I was able to shave his butt and back legs as well without the worry of it cutting him. If you are wondering if these will work. Buy them. Seriously. You won’t regret it. I don’t leave reviews often but this deserves one. Good luck on your shaving journey!

A read for thick-double coat large dogs.
I spent probably around 16 hours of non-stop reviewing from Walmart Wahl priced clippers to the Andis and Oster's. I've nearly pulled the trigger on the most expensive $200 ones knowing that if I can get 2 successful cuts I've already paid for them. I still wanted to be cheap. Quite a few of the 5 star cheap ones out there couldn't begin to touch a thick coat dog despite claims. I passed on this Hansprou quite a few times because the quality and reliability were definitely questionable... I read a review of a guy who seemed genuine and not a fake review who said he was actually able to cut through his Huskies like nothing. It had me intrigued. I knew I could just return it if it didn't work whatsoever so I thought it would be a risk-free trial, but had a lot of extreme potential if it really could do some work through some crazy long thick double coat hair. I bought the *** CORDED*** version knowing it needed all the power it could get and I just used it today on my mixed Border Collie/German Shepherd who had hair honestly about 7 inches long. Absolutely just obliterated through his hair like nothing. It was the easiest, unbelievable thing for $60 bucks I could ever believe. I do pray it works a second time, but after this first cut, it already paid for itself. Only con, but I can't really knock it if you compare it to literally every other clipper out there using plastic guards, especially in the price range --- For thick coats, the guards will immediately clog up and you'll be emptying hair every 5 seconds. Guards would probably work for just about any other dog without a thick, curly double coat though. All in all, just absolutely fantastic. Order one, if you get a lemon dud, just return it and sorry you didn't get a good one.

Great Clippers but with some difficulty with delivery
Read the reviews and decided to order. There was a mix-up about the delivery, it had gotten lost and then I had to reorder. That was frustrating as the pricing had changed; Amazon said after I order it again they would adjust price, but they never did. So I chatted with someone and they resolved the issue Thank you Amazon customer service! The clipper. My dog is about 20-25 pounds. Terrier mix. My daughter paid someone to clip her, and it cost around $75. I didn't want to pay that for clipping. I had never used clippers before, so I watched some utube videos. She was a bit shy of the noise, not that it's loud, but it's a buzzing sound. I was gentle with her, and I only used them one time so far, but the clippers went through like butter. It went very well, took a longer time, they are narrow, but that way there is more control, and it's easy to get around her face, paws and ears. Later when I showed her off, people asked where I took her to get clipped! She looked that good. Yes, I would certainly recommend these clippers, and would buy again. I did take a few breaks in between, I didn't want to over work the clippers or overwhelm my dog. Great assortment of heads for different lengths.

Best clippers ever!
I bought these clippers to shave my Great Pyrenees for the summer. I’ve had 4 other sets of name brand clippers made for dogs, and they worked ok, but would get hot and the blades would wear quickly. NOT WITH THESE CLIPPERS! I shaved ALMOST all of my dog before they started to not work so great. The one downfall is that these clippers don’t come with clipper oil, nor do they mention anything at all about using oil. I happened to have some on hand from my previous clippers and they cut like butter again. It took me about 20 minutes with these clippers to do what used to take me a couple hours with my old one. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! We had some shearers come out to shear our alpacas and goats a couple weeks ago, unfortunately a few of our angora goats got left out because we ran behind schedule and it got dark. I took these clippers out this past weekend and sheared 2 of the 3 Angora goats with them (the first one I did with manual shears because I didn’t think about the fact that I had these for my dog.) Let me tell you what, they did not disappoint! I plan on purchasing another set for I can shear all of my goats and alpacas with them next year! Pros: -They never got hot, not even warm, even with shearing two 100lb+ goats on an 80 degree day. - They cut like BUTTER if they’re well oiled - Practicaly impossible to cut skin with them. (I’ve knicked my dogs elbows with every other set of clippers I’ve owned, but not these. And both goats were unscathed, as well!) Cons: - They get hung up pretty easy if you have them set on the longest setting (2.0 on the dial) - Clipper head is kind of small. Only really a con if you’re shearing a goat, though. (Haha) - In my opinion, the guards are more or less useless, I couldn’t get the guard to go through my dogs hair at all. Just opt to leave them off and go for a close shave. It’ll grow back. - Instructions say NOTHING about oiling and it doesn’t come with oil like cry other set of clippers I’ve ever bought, so make sure you order some!

DO NOT BUY THESE CLIPPERS!!!!!!!!!!
These clippers were the WORST PRODUCT I HAVE EVER GOTTEN ON AMAZON. They say "high powered" and they come up in the search box when you search for "clippers for dogs with thick coats" but these clippers didn't cut JACK. They were, in all actuality a JOKE in a box - quite laughable, that is if I wasn't so angry. The picture leads you to believe they are larger than they are. You can tell as soon as you touch the box that they're junk. Before I opened the box, I actually thought they forgot to put the clippers in the box they're so cheap and light! I was expecting something with some weight to it, you know like good clippers have? They wouldn't go through my dog's least thick fur along her sides. When I tried to clip her heavy parts around her neck I might as well have used a comb (which no comb came with it). At least I would have seen SOME results - combed fur - but with these clippers, NOTHING. AHHHHHH! I'm so mad! I can't believe they had the gall to charge me over 60 dollars for something this poor. DO NOT BUY!!! Cheap, light, plastic, Chinese made GARBAGE! Save your money. One more thing. I bought these based on the reviews. 4.5 stars and over 7800 ratings???? That absolutely cannot be accurate so I will never trust the "stars" again. Also, they were reduced 47% leading you to believe that they were quality clippers and a bargain! I wouldn't pay 5 dollars for these clippers. I never felt so ripped off by any seller on Amazon.

Cuts thru like a knife through butter
I replaced my wireless with this one and it worked fabulously. The wireless one was key powerful enough. I bought this along with a grooming table and it was a perfect combo. My back no longer hurt after I groom my dogs. I have two dogs and one has so much hair, this clipper was able to clean him right up. He's now ready for summer (maybe for the next two weeks) and then it's haircut time again. I used the 2mm guard for thr belly (reading the reviews for safety of my puppy's skin) and used the 6mm to shave him all over except the head. I took the guard off to clean the paws of hair. He has so much growth in between his paws. I tested the clipper on my own skin first to make sure it didn't cut or cause pain. It was quiet and just a vibration on my skin. I would suggest you also test first before removing the guard. I love the clipper and highly recommend it.

Mediocre Clippers
Needed to clip my Labradoodle during Covid. He has a wavy coat. I researched a lot of clippers and didn't want the cheapest nor did I want to pay over $150 for a pair of clippers. These are okay but I am spoiled because I have used professional ones at dog groom shop. Pros: Low Noise Body is aluminum and not plastic Nice adjustable length built into the clippers Super long cord that makes it convenient when grooming Sharp for cutting without cutting your dog without a guard on Easy to take apart for cleaning Cons: Narrow blade and guides make it take longer to cut as they are not standard clipper width. It took me 4 hours. Guards fall off fairly easily and it is not engineered well for them to attach and stay on. NOT good as stated when it comes to "thick heavy coats" in the listing. That is highly exaggerated. I keep my dog clean and combed out and these had a hard time getting through one missed month of grooming (he goes every 4 weeks). So I give it a strike for misleading the buyer. They are NOT professional clippers as indicated (another strike). Overall, I give these 3 stars because there are many worse clippers out there. Seller only gets 3 stars because of misleading selling descriptions. They will work okay if you are in a crunch but I would not rely on them if you want to groom your dog yourself all the time (pay an extra hundred on top of this and get lower-end pro clippers instead).

The Right Tool for the Job
I used these clippers for the first time this weekend. My Doodle looks like a completely different dog. They worked as expected and were light enough my hand did not tire before the job was finished.

Good mid range Clipper
It works much better that a cordless model we had originally purchased. It glides smoothly once we get the dog's coat to medium length. The combs get filled quickly and does not perform well when the coat is longer and thicker. It does not glide through like butter like a professional unit. we did get the job done. It was impossible when we tried with a rechargeable battery unit. Its a mid range performance that suits us well for the minimum use we make of it. Someone with a short hair dog will be in heaven.
