Chelated Calcium 900mg // 200 Capsules // Pure // by PureControl Supplements

UPDATE - I originally bought this for the perfect number of pills required for calcium dosing needs, and for its claim of being chelated. I'm now currently enrolled in a Nutrition Science course at Stanford University and am learning a boatload of things. During research for a calcium-focused assignment, I came upon the recommendation to check all supplements for the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) or Consumer Labs (CL) seal, or one from another government agency. This does not have any, and I should have noted that the label on the bottle looks a little suspicious - cut with scissors, small for the bottle, appears inkjet-printed (colors look a little runny).I also came upon some reviews that question the veracity of this company's claims regarding the mathematical impossibility of how much they are actually able to pack into a single capsule, for some substances. Unfortunately for me, unlike virtually all other products I've purchased through Amazon, this one is not free to return. I will have to eat 30% of the purchase price, because of the return shipping cost. But better to be safe than sorry, and better to recoup some of my hard-earned money.ORIGINAL REVIEW - Well, I'm assuming this works - I guess I'll find out when I get my next bone scan. What works well for me is that it's a chelated calcium, and therefore more bioavailable than others. I did do a crazy amount of research on the best calcium supplement to take, and I like what I've read about this.
