Speedo Unisex-Adult Swim Training Snorkel Bullet Head

I'm a beginner swimmer and have trouble with freestyle, but am relatively good at breaststroke. This snorkel is excellent at helping me practice the freestyle stroke technique in a streamlined position without stopping to as frequently to gasp for air. It is also good for kick board flutter kick drills - you can focus on technique. The snorkel is light and well constructed. The strap adjusts and fits well and the forehead adjustment is intuitive and functional. There is no purge valve at the bottom of this snorkel, which I didn't know about, but I don't think I would need it anyways. The snorkel isn't too restrictive in its air flow - it is just right for challenging me and letting me get enough air. Very satisfied. The "shocking lime" color was on sale for half the price of the other colors when I bought it, which made the selection a no-brainer - but right now, I see the price jumped back up to normal price. I think I would buy it at the full price, but it would just be a bit more painful knowing the deal I got initially!

THIS IS MY SECOND ONE OF THESE. ITS AN UPGRADE, BETTER FIT, STRONGER, SHOULD LAST ME A YEAR PLUS. PLEASE KEEP MAKING THEM SPEEDO. 6 STAR. IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO SWIM.

This was my first time using a training snorkel (scuba diver so has experience using snorkels). The assembly required some carefully curated power. After the assembly, it was easy to adjust to fit my face and it was comfortable. I can definitely feel the air restriction coming from the narrow tube, but not so much that I feel like suffocating, and hope to continue to use it for improving lung capacity. The only downside that makes me want to experiment more with the adjustment is--water seems to enter through between the mouth piece and the tube, and it gurgles (but don't enter my mouth/airway) when inhaling.

Excellent snorkel for doing laps in a pool. Water only goes in when you are fully submerged. Fits great around head and in the mouth.

This really worked well for me. I needed to buy nose plugs to work with it because I need them. But, pleased with this snorkel.

I saw a woman swimming with one of these and had to get one. My RA makes it hard to turn my neck for freestyle swimming and works perfectly.

As soon as I began to swim laps with it, meaning within the first 10 seconds, water was leaking into the tube. I took it off, emptied it out, and tried again. Same thing. I've been swimming laps with front-facing snorkels for years and this has never happened before. Also, it feels like it's sized for children. I'm an adult man with a normal-sized head and it felt like the distance from the highest adjustment level on the tube, to my mouth, was much too short. Finally, there's no blow hole at the bottom. You're supposed to blow water out of the top of the tube. Good luck. I couldn't get that to happen and I have strong lungs from regular lap swimming with other snorkels. This snorkel is a total disaster. The worst I've ever encountered. I'm planning to return it.

Muy cómodo! Es la primera vez que uso snorkel en mi entrenamiento y es muy cómodo, no se me ha metido el agua y no me lastima ni se me mueve, excelente compra! Además el color hermoso, como en la foto.

Its light and comfortable, a very good tool for freesyle beginner.

عصا التنفس ممتاز و يساعد على دخول كمية كبيرة من الهواء و ثابت جدًا. يعيبه أنه قصير قليلًا و يسمح بدخول الماء عند إمالة الرأس قليلًا للأسفل. عند النفخ بقوة يخرج الماء بسهولة، لكنه مزعج قليلًا عند السباحة الحرة لفترات طويلة. مثبت الرأس مزعج قليلًا و انحناءته لمسك الرأس قاسية قليلًا. يترك أثر بسيط على الجبهة عند نزعه بعد السباحة حتى لفترات قصيرة.

When you get it working right, it's great. But be really careful. You definitely need a nose clip, and if you're nose isn't completely sealed water will enter through your nose. But once you get it dialed in, it's great. But caution, you'll be coughing up water if the nose clip isn't right. Don't swim away until you've got it working right in a stationary position.
