I bought this item because it seemed the most practical of the hooks which I saw and the least obtrusive. I liked that you could easily use the bottom, loop hook, or the regular hook and I liked that it was webbing so it wouldn't harm my car seats. I bought it to keep my purses from falling over in the car. I just got it yesterday and decided to try it right away. It was a little tough to hook it into my car, but once I managed that I felt it was pretty secure. That evening I drove to pick up some food. I put the bag of food on the floor of the passenger side as always and sure enough, at the first stoplight it fell sideways. I picked it up (at the next stoplight) and put it on my seat. I attached the bottom, loop handle through the handles on the bag of food and didn't have to worry the rest of the trip! I was delivering food to a friend and I was so impressed with my hook that I made her come around to the side of the car to see how it kept her food from moving around. Since I got 4 in my package I've promised to give her one. Great product, great idea.

Lasted about month then clip broke at the top.

Love these! My mom got these for us, and we both love having them. I drive a half hour to work each day with a big bag and a lunch in the passenger seat, and this does keeps my mind at ease when coming to a stop, or decelerating-no more spilled-over bag messes on the floor while driving. You can adjust how long you want the strap if you want to use it on the back of the seat or shorter for the front where I usually use mine. Does a great job looping grocery bags through too so you don’t have to worry about any soup cans or produce rolling away under a seat and then not finding it until the car stinks of rotting fruit! 😅
