The Lotion Company 24 Hour Skin Therapy Lotion, Spring Cherry, 16 Ounce

I fell for the vanilla one because I needed to see what all the fuss was about in the reviews!(first: meaning all the people saying it smells so delicious they wanted to eat their arm, etc.) … because as a true born to wear vanilla since born GOURMAND wear of perfumes, I can tell when something is good or not. It’s how I first recognized that the EOS vanilla cashmere lotion was the identical dupe to the Bath and body Works vanilla bean Noel so I know my GOURMAND since and I have very specific taste because if I don’t walk out of the house every day smelling exactly like fresh baked cookies or vanilla, whipped cream, or toast, toasted marshmallows then we have a problem!!! I do not agree with the other reviews that state that this smells completely just like regular vanilla because I don’t wanna mislead anyone and it did mislead me. I was expecting something like the EOS vanilla Kashmir or like the Billie Eilish number one perfume and that is not nearly what this smells like and I want to give a more specific rendition of what you truly get with this because it is nice, but it needs to be better to find for people like me who love scents ! To me upon opening, this smells exactly like very soft, creamy vanilla well into the background with a much more prominent scent of marshmallow almost like a vanilla flavored marshmallow, and it is beautiful and it layers well with all of my other vanilla perfumes and body sprays and oils, and I also noticed that it’s not so overpowering that other people will complain and say that your scent is giving them a headache or if you are someone that is sensitive to sense these are very well fragrance in the fact that it’s very light very nice it sticks to your skin, but it’s not something you can smell outwardly. You would have to put your nose next to your wrist to smell it, which is what most women want because we layer and the other part of the women want it because they get headaches from sent so I wanted to point that out because I know like a bunch of my mom‘s friends are really, really sensitive to smell smells. This is like the most light fluffy cloud like vanilla marshmallow you’ve ever smelled. It’s absolutely delicious and it’s a beautiful scent, but the creator which looks like as a teenage girl and her father knew exactly how much fragrance to add to it so that it’s not too much and not too little now what I complain if she upped the anti on the fragrance for myself,? Heck, no! I love vanilla, and I love marshmallow even more however, I can see the thought process behind making it this lightly fragranced. I have not tried the other sense, but considering how moisturizing and how absolutely elegantly this is scented I will be coming back and trying some of the other GOURMAND scents like the brown sugar, One, etc., as I finish one off I’ll try another but the vanilla one is so super good. I’m not sure how I’ll feel when I finish this one off. I may just go ahead and order both because I don’t know that this hasn’t completely replaced my favorite vanilla lotion. I do like how it layers with my current combination, which is the vanilla skin by PHLUR and this lotion and a little bit of vanilla musk NEMAT oil on the wrist.

UPDATE OCT 2025 Just got another order of the kiwi mango...OMG this is the best lotion ever. Besides smelling good it dries up cracked skin and it last all day. Purchase this lotion and trust me you will not be disappointed. UPDATE 15 JAN 25 Just got my second order of Kiwi Mango....y'all need to RUN & PUT THIS IN YOUR CART. BEST SMELLING LOTION EVER. Moistures just as good. UPDATE 2 DEC Just received the Lively Lemon...and OMG it smells soooo good. This is the best lotion ever. It moisturizers all day. I highly recommend purchasing this lotion. Nice thickness to it but it's not heavy. Very easy to apply. UPDATE 11 OCT Just got the kiwi mango....and I thought it couldn't smell any better than the ones I already luv....wrong. SMELLS SOOOO GOOD. This the BEST moisturizering and smelling lotion on Amazon. THIS LOTION IS AMAZING. BUY IT......YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. I don't like the Carmel scent but I use it after I shower and it truly does moisturizer all day. I will try other scents. Update 27 July...got the Baby Powder scent and it smells so good. This lotion truly does moisturizer my skin all day. I have been using a particular lotion for over 10 yrs....but it has increased from $10 bottle to over $20 bottle. So I decided to research lotions on Amazon and read reviews. And I chose this lotion and I'm so happy that I did. Purchase this lotion it is worth purchasing and your skin will feel so good. I'm going to try all of their scents. Update 14 Aug 24...just got the Citrus Tea one today and it smells heavenly. With this lotion there is no need to wear perfume. I have another scent coming on Sat. This is the best lotion ever. If you have rough dry skin I this lotion will help repair it. BEST lotion ever. Worth buying and worth every dime.

I saw someone online recommended the Vanilla Bean body lotion from this brand. I was hesitant to try it because of the price, but decided it was worth a shot. Fresh from the shower and after applying a cheap body oil gel from Walmart, I applied the lotion. I noticed the smell was intense! To me it smells like vanilla extract with some fluffiness, almost like marshmallows. I have never smelled a vanilla body lotion like this before. A little goes a long ways. This lotion is also very hydrating. I applied the lotion around 8:30pm last night. It is currently the next day, I just got home from work (5pm) and I can STILL smell the scent of the lotion on my skin as well as my skin feeling super hydrated. I’ve never been so impressed by a lotion before in my life. I will be buying more from this brand!

This being a Family Business I wanted to LOVE this lotion so bad! But I don't. I bought Vanilla and Baby Powder. Vanilla Bean was not to my taste at all. It literally smells .like almost unscented lotion to me... It smells like nothing almost to me. It has a very very, very, light scent. I wanted it to smell like ice cream, Vanilla cake, or Vanilla frosting. I wanted it to punch me in the face as a Vanilla lover. It is none of that. the smell that is there is not to my personal preference either. Loved Baby Powder but you have to love that scent too though. It is nice and strong. The scent can faintly last into the next day for me for those who love that scent The quality of the lotion and consistency of the the lotion is nice and quality as well the the ingredients. Maybe it just comes down to personal preference but I still felt greasy and sticky using this lotion over hours of using it which I feel horrible saying this because the ingredients are nice and quality as well as the consistency. I had some problems with the packaging as well. One of my items was securely sealed in plastic. One was not sealed in plastic and when I opened a brand new bottle some product wanted to be outside the brand new bottle on the brand new pump. Those who love this lotion should 1000% percent still support this business. As for me a first time buyer who wants nearly all the scents. I'll have to think about it some more. I can't recommend Vanilla Bean though unless you want a very, very, very light scent. or nearly non-scented for me. Everyones body chemistry and scent preferences are different though.

This is a wonderful layering scent for perfumes and body sprays. I was looking for a nice vanilla or marshmallow to go with some of my straight up vanilla or marshmallow perfumes and this is exactly what I was looking for. Sometimes I get in the mood to wear linear scents. I also love Golden Athena but it has more notes (cashmere and sandalwood) so I was looking for one more straightforward. This is a beautiful scent and almost smells vanilla/marshmallow to me. I am so happy for this purchase! This will go with all of my gourmand perfumes as well!

The Lotion Co. has the best lotions I've ever used! The Baby powder scent lasts all day! Smells exactly like baby powder! And the Vanilla Bean smells good also but the scent is a little bit lighter, everyone needs to try this lotion it is amazing and a big bottle too 16oz.

I am a HUGE fan of the lotion company. (I think I have every scent). I love the owners and the scents are usually all good. My issue though is Sweet Pea is one of the only floral options and it’s discontinued. I sadly don’t like the one other floral option as it smells too much of a real flower for me. I often find myself using other brands daily to smell more girly even though I absolutely adore this lotion and would rather be using it. :( Sometimes I just want to smell perfumey and not gourmet all the time. I wish they had a more stronger fruiter/floral feminine fragrance. The actual lotion itself is amazing, I’m covered in tattoos and they always get about 5 shades darker when I use this lotion. It absorbs so fast and the scent lingers for a long time, which I absolutely love - you might not. I have very pale almost purplish dry skin and this completely gets rid of my redness/purple in my skin and hydrates immediately. Just very amazing lotion. I’d highly recommend this company if you love gourmet scents, I sadly just don’t.

the best smelling vanilla lotion i’ve tried. it’s sooo strong and long lasting on me. it smells like the fluffiest purest vanilla bean ice cream!! i love how a little goes a long way too!
