Brush works well use it daily easy to clean bristles just the right softness

Quality hairbrush. I have dry hair and this brush used nightly can distribute natural oils and clean hair. It's not the best in removing loose hair. I use a vent style to get the dead strands out. Clean in soapy warm water once a month.

Excellent quality and well woryh the price. Expect it to last for years to come.

Buyer beware! Don’t know how they can get away w/this but… just know it’s not what’s advertised. I’ve been wanting a 100% pure boar bristle brush for awhile & was so excited to see this one hand-made from a century’s old company in Germany. As it was being advertised as “100% boar bristle” w/many reviewers loving it & saying it was exactly as advertised, I reasoned that coming from such an old established company I couldn’t lose. Unfortunately, those few reviewers who warned that it was not 100% pure were correct. It’s an approx. 50% nylon bristles. I’m doing research re: boar bristle brushed, an internet post warned that if the packaging doesn’t say it’s 100%, then it’s not. So while the write-up for this brush, as well as for their “100% boar bristle” body brush says that’s what they are made of, alas, not so the boxes they come in. Nowhere on the packaging does it mention anything about the brushes being made of 100% boar bristles. So while I like the feel of the brush in my hand, the wooden handle & the way it goes thru my thick, but fine curly/wavy hair, I am truly disappointed. If I didn’t have a couple of friends who would love this & are not concerned about the bristle content, I would definitely be returning it.

Excellent qualityWell made

This brush is AMAZING. I moved away from boar bristle for the better part of 10 years because the texture and thickness of my hair changed in my late teens through mid-20s, but now this is just the ticket.My hair is fine and very smooth, but I have a lot of it. I was hoping that this brush would be able to do the job without me needing to separate out sections to make sure I got all of it, and boy did this brush deliver. It takes very few passes for it to detangle and smooth my hair with zero pain or struggle.That being said, I spent nearly 20 years having my hair tied back tightly into a bun, so there's not a whole lot of feeling in my scalp these days, so take that "no pain" with a grain of salt - I definitely did not need to yank or tug or pull to get the brush through, though.The price was very nice as well. I had a Mason Pearson brush gifted to me as a child, and used it for years up until I needed a different style of bristle, and was completely unwilling to spend the money on that brush given the current economic client and my current salary (the struggle is real, am I right?).I would say that this is a great replacement for that level of functionality and construction for anyone who would like to spend a little less on their hairbrush but still have something that works really well.Just be sure to read the product description to make sure that you have one of the hair types the manufacturer recommends for this brush!

I brought this for my 3 month old baby because she has so much hair. I brush her hair twice a day and the cradle cap is coming away and not returning. Her hair is quite fluffy after brushing but just twirling it with my fingers brings that down and leaves the curls light and shiny. Great quality handle and bristles compared to boar bristle brushes I’ve brought previously. I’m sure she will have this brush for years to come.
