Boao 16 Pcs Oil Absorbing Sponge for Hot Tub Pool,Turtle,White

I had mixed feelings about these after reading the reviews. I'm glad I bought them! After throwing 5 of them into my swim spa, I noticed, the next day, that the oil film was already gone on the top of the water. These were in an entire week before turning yellowish brown, but that only happened the day my pool guy came and added chemicals!! I'm guessing the material reacts to an abundance of some of the chemicals. These still seem to be working fine. I simply wring them out, over the side, whenever I am near. I threw in a couple of more the day after the maintenance guy added chemicals and it seems to have decipated enough not to turn the new ones yellow yet. I'm going to leave these all in (7 now) until I feel they no longer are soaking up the oils. GREAT BUY at a GREAT PRICE!

Conducted a test. I put one in our hot tub and it turned brown within a few days. I wondered if it was just reacting to oxygen or Chorine so I put in a second but at the same time I put one in a sealed container of tap water with a tiny bit of chlorine. Weird thing, they both stayed white for several days. The new one in the hot tub only turned yellow brown after we got in the tub. The sponge in the tap water container never changed color at all. It did cause the tap water to very slightly change color to yellow orange. We no longer have sudsy bubbly, oily film near the filter intake. They feel exactly like memory foam and take about an hour to separate after unsealing the vacuum pack.

This product is very easy and absorbent. You drop in and it'll float on top clean the surface of the water. Every day/night we squeeze it to get the water out of it. They last a week (we have a portable hot tub). Our tub would be kinda icky, even with the chlorine and this helped a lot. The turtle is cute in it and holds the shape very well. The only downfall is, once it is worn (after a week) it'll start to fall apart, and leave residue on the bottom of the tub. However, we own a vacuum so not a big deal. In all I would be buying this product again.

I use these in my jacuzzi and it like to ruin my filter and they fell apart all in my water in the bottom of my jacuzzi all over the place in there! I had a big mess had to clean the filter very well because it had little pieces all in it. I do not recommend this not one bit! Do not buy these.

I honestly wasn't sure if I really wanted these, or if they'd do much but omg do they ever. I highly reccomended getting. I use for my hot tub that we recently purchased. I threw one in and not even 12 hours later it seriously looked like most of the pictures you see from reviews posted. I got the white ones so I could truly see how much scum was being collected. And let me tell you, it's LOTS. It also doesn't help cause I have metal in the water, so I did have to do a treatment for that, but I felt like these were such a good addition to collect the particals and scum that is still there. My water is CLEAR (I also keep up with daily maintenance). Again. Highly recommend!

These are not good. They disintegrate in my hot tub and leave a little bit floating around and they turn yellow not a good product.

Who would’ve thought foam sea turtles would completely change the hot tub experience. I struggled to keep my tub clear and foam free for quite awhile. To the point where I just accepted a little cloudiness and foam. Got these as a Christmas gift from my daughter. She just got them in a whim not really knowing what they do. I started using them and immediately noticed a difference. Tub stays clear and foam free now. If I see the the water getting cloudy I just throw 2 turtles in and it will be clear in a day or two. Obviously your chemicals have to be proper as well but these turtles were the final piece of the puzzle.

Worked great when we had 20 six year olds in the pool. Absorbed a lot of the sunblock. We normally have a layer of shiny oil when we have party’s. Threw three in the pool and didn’t have the shiny layer we normally do. Definitely recommend.

J'en achète régulièrement. On ne présente plus ce type de produit indispensable: J'utilise ces éponges dans un spa pour collecter les huiles de corps, cheveux et autre produits qui restent en surface après baignade. Il est habituellement conseiller de prendre une douche avant la baignade pour justement éviter ces dépôts et encrasser moins vite les filtres (ce que nous ne faisons évidemment pas). Comme l'ont déjà dis les autres et comme vous trouverez des témoignages positifs partout ailleurs: Çà fonctionne très bien ! SPA de 2.4mx2.4m, 5 places, j'y mets 2 éponges qu'il m'arrive de laisser 2 semaines (ça dépend de la fréquence d'utilisation du SPA et du nombre de personne) -- je ne change les éponges que quand elles sont réellement sales. Les éponges sont livrées dans un sac sous vide pour gain de place: pas de panique elles reprennent leur forme d'origine (immédiatement dans l'eau ou après quelques jours au sec). Bon produit.
