These worked great as a short snake for a rackmount mixer. They are also great if you remove the outer sleeving to obtain yourself 8 short patch cables at the lowest price per 1/4 patch cable you can likely find ;)

Sturdy cables and are rugged enough for constant plugging and unplugging. Take care of them and they will take care of you.

I use these for running my rack gear into the rear jacks of my patch bay. It’s way cheaper than buying individual cables, plus being able to quickly sort out what goes where by looking for cable color has been a huge help. They’re molded, so no repairs possible without chopping and resoldering, but they’re probably going to stay put for most of their life so I don’t expect much need for repairs. I’ll continue to buy these for future projects.

great cables for mixers and recording. Colours make it easy to see where the signals are going. Handy length for wiring home studios. Solid connections and no audio interference make these a treat to use. I own two pairs and will buy more as needed - certainly made rewiring my studio easier.

Between preamps, audio interfaces, reverb units, compressors, I've got a bunch of things that have to be cabled together with TRS connections. I used to have a bunch of black cables running around the back of my box and if I ever needed to change anything it was a major pain. Now that I have a single "snake" type cable with colored ends, it is really easy to keep it organized. Also this is much cheaper than buying 8 individual TRS cables. I don't know if this would be useful outside of a rack system but for what I am using it for, works great.

I was skeptical because of the low price, but this is a great loom. Excellent build and sound quality. The colored cables make it easy to identify channels in cluttered/small work environments without a patch bay.

I got these to hook up some outboard rack gear to my audio interface (Yamaha SPX90 and Alesis MIDIVerb II reverb units, the Yamaha is mono in/stereo out and the Alesis is full stereo in/out), and it works flawlessly. Only downside is that the multicore section of the cable can make it look a bit more messy around the back. Will definitely be getting more of these to patch in more gear as I need it.

Product serves its purpose in general but with low quality of material been used, i doubt it will last longer.

I wish I had just dropped the extra money to buy something of better quality. The snake feels like the sheilding is well made, but the rubber jacks aren't repairable, and either the wires themselves or the connection to the TRS internals is shoddy. Do not buy this snake. Poor quality. Used only in studio for a couple of months. Sound drop outs after basically having no stress put on them. Likely arrived with this weak connection somewhere. Broken. Waste. No value for studio use.
