This is so convenient for the main door. No more worries about carrying the key and keeping it safe. There is auto locking facility that locks the door as soon as it’s closed. The lock had fingerprint, pin and physical key readily available. Can be unlocked with Bluetooth or even wifi if you get the right accessories. Overall a good looking and easy to use product.

Great lock , great functionality, clean install , escalation manager Naveen is a really helpful guy , got the installation done way ahead of the schedule upon request. Highly recommended the lock & the optional bridge...!!!!!

I have been using Yale locks for almost 5 years and happens to be one the most secure and reliable door locks.I have recently upgraded my older version of 4190 with a new 7116 series which has more secure options and features.You get 2 physical keys (which we hardly use them).4 RFID cards30 Programmable digital codes20 finger prints accountsAnd Bluetooth key, not only to access, but also to view logs.Over all I gave 4.4 out of 5

Ok product but really disappointing service. Had to make several calls, chase customer service over a week to get installation. The software etc is very basic and not intuitive. Chinese made... lock works ok but not worth 40k

There's no doubt the lock works like a charm and looks awesome.Have given only 3 stars since the Bluetooth module was missing from my delivered packet. And since I got this installed only after 4moths, couldn't raise a complaint.

Had for a month now and works well. The Yale Access Kit kit makes the lock a smart lock but significantly adds to the cost.

This YRD-256 is my second Yale lock. Previously I owned a YRD–240 with a Z-Wave module for six years. It was sturdy and reliable without any issues (to this very day it works great) and it paired well with SmartThings. Since then I’ve become a convert to HomeKit for several reasons I won’t go into here. While this one doesn’t use the new Apple HomeKey feature, I’ve come to trust Yale locks and the price point was easy to swallow. This was a logical upgrade for me as it slides right into HomeKit. For this upgrade, I purchased the iM1 module separately and received my lock from Amazon in one day. Installation was easy although it was similar to my last lock. HomeKit setup was, of course, pleasantly simple and fast, even for a HomeKit appliance. After connecting, HomeKit suggested three scenes and three automations. I turned on all but one.The Yale app tracks my family’s PIN codes and keeps a log of use. Sadly it does not allow a temporary code or an auto expire feature. Man, this would be a great feature. But otherwise, it is elegant and reliably functional using the Yale app, HomeKit, or Siri.If it holds up as well as my last Yale lock I am going to be very pleased with the value of this purchase.

Can’t use the smart function in the UK (smart module almost unobtainable here)…Talked to Yale, they asked why it was being sold here! It’s made for the US…
