Ok so these far exceed my expectations. I view this as a great bargain and I feel a bit better about the environment with a biodegradable option.

Seriously, nothing hot... not even above warm!If you want to eat a salad you are great but don't try to stab that hotdog!! The fork tines (if they manage to come out) will instantly bend from the heat. Oh yes... and hot dog is about the max you should try with these. I've never seen disposable tableware snap so quickly.I can run my hot tap water over these and melt them.

I got these for my mom's 50th birthday party and they are excellent quality! I will buy these again if I ever need to!

These were exactly what I was looking for. Biodegradable silverware I have purchased in the past have not been that sturdy, but these were just as good as regular sturdy plastic. Definitely recommend this. I had stopped buying plastic silverware because of the environmental impact, but these are great since they can be composted.

Wow were these a disappointment when I opened them! I wanted to return them but my sons convinced me that we could live with them. They have regretted that decision. Both the forks and spoons are long enough as far as total length, they are a little shorter than normal but good enough. They are smaller in width than I expected. The spoon scoop size is small but okay. It's workable. But the fork, holy smokes, it's tine size is very small. It's not right. If this set was just forks, they would have gone back for sure. They are not okay. I do not recommend them. The spoons are okay but not on my favorites list. They both are medium as far as sturdiness. They are definitely not heavy duty.
