Just as pictured. Richly colored when hot and solid black when cold.Given as a gift to our son for his 12th bday and he loves it. My only complaint would be the packaging. The box it comes in is pretty flimsy. I taped up the bottom before I wrapped it to be sure it didn't pop open and the mug fall out while he unwrapped. Fantastic otherwise. :)

Got this a s a gift but had to see if it did change. It DID! Very excited to give this as a gift. Will be buying more.

I love this mug! The only reason I subtracted a star is because I expected it to be a bit bigger like in the picture and you can see what it heats up to after a while

The packaging made sure it was safely transported. When used it does what it was advertised and looks awesome.

Awesome design. My daughter's only complaint was that the mug was too hot to touch- except the handle. Didn't use water hotter than any other drinks she has.
