I think anyone reading this review is probably already aware of the healthful benefit claims of taking black seed oil if not look below for excerpt from manufacturer's website but do want to add that as far as I know it is 500% stronger at raising glutathione levels than anything other than intravenous glutathione. I am very pleased with the artisan cold-pressed black seed oil I received from Amazing Herbs. I often feel that manufacturers are dishonest in their labeling but not so with Amazing Herbs. I felt the oil was solvent-free and I often taste solvents in other supposedly solvent-free oils by other manufacturers. Also this is artisan cold pressed and you can taste the quality. Also, mine is very fresh and definitely not rancid. There are many delicious ways to get oil of cumin into your diet such as it is a great seasoning for meat, fish, beans, anything curried and such. So I suggest preparing your entree, and right before serving, swizzle a little on your black beans or steak or barbecue wings. This will be adding to the flavor of your meal by complementing it. I would not suggest black seed on fruit as that would not taste good; however it is a great compliment to citrus-based marinades. Any recipe that calls for cumin, you could omit the cumin and at the last minute squeeze a little black seed oil on instead. Black oil is great on an omelet or other egg-based dish. Super for chili, lentils, stews, and barbecued meats. It tastes great on sauteed onions, rice, couscous, stir-fried vegetables, and potatoes. Also, this very clean oil absorbs very well. This company is the only one I could find that stated the amount of Thymoquinone in their product. All others say they have it, but not how much. You get what you pay for!

Awful taste but makes you feel good.

Mild taste allows for consistent use. The Egyptian taste is much milder than Premium -- the company informs this has about 1/3 fewer "thymos" than the Premium, hence the lack of one additional star. That said, I will probably repurchase this over the Premium. I'm normally the type who wants the strongest possible product, but I find that this is so easy to tolerate that I use it more regularly than when I have the Premium [which tastes like transmission fluid]. I find this tasty by comparison. I keep the bottle in the fridge and transfer portions of it to a 2 ounce glass pump bottle that I keep handy on the counter. Squirt 10-14 times to the way back of my tongue, so even with the Premium, no problem!! Note: I've seen this product go through some crazy price fluctuations -- up to 40% increase within two days at times, so compare the price on other sites before purchasing. I recently bought the Premium again and I am just not using it. As someone who has gone back and forth, I am now settled that I will only purchase the Egyptian.

Blackseed oil works great

I ordered this after doing a lot of research on it and its benefits. If you have also, that is why you are here contemplating ordering some.I can tell you that the taste,for me anyway,is not as bad as it has been reviewed as. I ordered mushroom extract also and that is by far a lot worse tasting.And I just drink black seed oil plain from a spoon. I received my order of this 2 days ago and can say with 100% honesty that I have slept so much better and have had very vivid dreams in the 2 days I have been taking it. I don't sleep well at all and for me to dream is a great thing. I am very excited about this.I also gave some to my 13 year old son last night who also told me he had some vivid dreams. The dreams were not nightmares or anything,just dreams. As I continue to use this product I will update this review if I notice anything worth mentioning or changes.Both positive and negative. I have only taken it for 2 days but so far I love it.Although sometimes you don't know the internal benefits on your body,knowing you are taking the steps to be healthier in itself is a positive thing.

I've purchased Amazing Herbs Black Seed oil previously, in addition to this one. Amazing herbs has horrible pictures and descriptions representing, or not representing - as the case may be, their products. Both times I purchased this product I was mislead, the first order was a pleasant misleading but the second order was an unpleasant misleading. The first time I ordered Black seed oil it was listed and pictured as basic black seed oil, possibly with old product pictures - yellow label, not standardized. Since this was my first time ordering from them I was unsure of what to expect. What I received for my purchase was not what was pictured, I received their Premium, 8oz bottle, of Black seed oil with standardized Thymoquinone which was not depicted or described in the product description. I did not know that an 8 oz bottle of standardized product was available because none of the pictures or descriptions they have for their 8 oz products depict this standardized product (including the one I purchased), only 16 oz sizes depict the standardized bottle and label. I was pleasantly surprised to receive this first order from them but confused as to how I received a product that they don't advertise. The second time I ordered their black seed oil I ordered what I thought was the same 8 oz product but the pictures of the product did not expose the side label that says "Egyptian" written vertically up the orange area and the description did not indicate this. As far as I knew I was purchasing the same standardized product that I had purchased previously since none of their 8 oz product pages state anywhere that it is, or is not, a standardized product and the pictures do not accurately represent the product being purchased anyway. On receiving my second order I did receive black seed oil but did not intend to purchase the non standardized "Egyptian" black seed oil that came to me. This seems like a good product but apparently ordering it is a crap shoot so expect the unexpected...

Not really any issues, but if I had known that I would be receiving this oil in a glass bottle, rather than a plastic bottle, I would've thought about it longer. They should change the picture to a glass bottle to avoid any misconceptions.

I take orally. This is amazing stuff.
