Electrical crimper with crimps
This crimper by itself was worth the purchase. The crimps themselves are excellent.

Nice basic kit, though a bit messy.
The biggest frustration I had with this purchase is that the box partitions do not come up to the lid, and so all the connectors got mixed up during shipping. I got them sorted, but if I ever drop the box or it just gets turned on edge, I'll have to do it again - next time I'll make sure I get color coded ones. Beyond that, I think it's a reasonable price for a light use tool and a ton of connectors. It does feel like the tool and connectors are not quite a proper match, to get a nice clean crimp I had to start the bend on the connector, then insert the wire, then put it in the tool and crimp it. The result was nice and solid, I made the repairs I needed to, and I think they'll last - it was just harder than expected from a specialty tool. If I had a lot of these to do, I might look at other products.

Works Well Enough For My Purposes but Not Stellar -- You Get What You Pay For
The crimper included with this set works well enough and seems to be of functional quality (I say, not having a brand name one around to compare it to). However, the connectors with this set are pretty chintzy. I've successfully used them and they've worked well enough for what I do with it, which is mainly replacing turn signal and other wiring connectors on motorcycles. The 4mm connectors in this set are compatible with the connectors found on most OEM and aftermarket turn signal assemblies. The connectors don't really fit the dies in the crimper. The shape is just a little off, and if you try to crimp them right out of the box they'll go all weird and smash flat rather than rolling over correctly. You have to give each and every single connector in the box a slight pinch with a pair of pliers BEFORE inserting them into the crimper which is just tedious as all hell. The included insulating covers are also kind of mis-sized, and your choices always seem to be too loose or too tight for a given connector. A dab of silicone lube on each helps them slide over correctly which is more fiddly work you have to repeat on each and every connector which slows down your work... This set is probably fine for occasional hobbyist use but if you are going to be installing bullet plugs by the bucketload I would definitely invest in higher quality stuff. When the time finally comes to refill my box of connectors, believe me I will be finding a different brand! I'll certainly keep the crimper tool itself. I suspect performance will be much improved by using non-crap connectors.

I never had good luck with crimp connections until I bought this.
Very solid tool, with light duty connectors. They do work very well even if they are thin. This likely isn't the best if you'll be continually disabling the contacts but works great for a permanent install. I used this to cleanly install my tail lights on a motorcycle.

Worked great and had the spades that matched my car relay legs.
I have a box full of crimpers for the squish-type spade and bullet connectors kits I've gotten over the years. This was the first I have seen that handled crimping down the "ears" at the back of the connector to hold the wire into place. A few practice runs and I was off making tightly-held in place spade connections that didn't pull out when I was trying to disconnect the male and female spade connectors. I needed to troubleshoot a relay wiring issue and this kit had the narrow male and female spade connectors that let me add jumpers wires for the relay to let me test the voltages.

OK for casual use, but takes some getting used to to get consistent crimps
As another reviewer noted, the box doesn't prevent the connectors and boots from mixing because there's no interference fit between the separators and the lid. I too had to sort them all when I got them. There's no clear link between which connectors go with which boots. As depicted in the description photos is not correct. The measurements in the description are also not correct and don't match what's shown on the top of the box. I primarily got this kit to make adapters so that I can connect LED turn signals (which use 3.5mm terminals) to the wiring harness in my motorcycle (which has 3.9mm connectors). I put the 11.5mm boots on the 3.9mm male side and the 24mm boots on the 3.5mm female side which seems to work OK. As far as crimping, if you look at the die, there's a wider side and a narrower side. The narrower side crimps the bare wire, while the slightly wider side crimps the insulation. Put the connector in with the insulation end (where you insert the wire) slightly protruding from the face of the crimper (on the opposite side from the one with the 0.5 - 1.5 markings). If you put it flush, it will mess up the crimp on the bare wire side, and it will feel harder to crimp. If you let the end of the connector stick out just a little, you'll get a smooth feel to the crimp and the right amount of crimp on each part of the wire.
