Use as recommended - worth the money
Waterless urinals have a tendency to smell if you are not diligent with cleaning exactly as recommended. These maintenance balls are worth the money and I highly recommend.

Really Improves The Bathroom
Yes they are expensive. I bought a box last year from Amazon & paid four cents more. At least they haven't gone up. I dropped a star because of the price. They are even more expensive elsewhere. Considering the length of time each one lasts (about two weeks), it costs around 23 cents per day. That isn't much for a pleasant bathroom. We have had a urinal in our home for over 10 years & and have skipped using them for a period of time. Waterless urinals require periodic maintenance & this is a necessary part. Using them greatly reduces the smell. It is important to replace them on schedule. The bright color contrasts well with the porcelin plumbing. An added bonus, you get something to aim at.
