Relaxdays Parasol Ground Anchor, Screw-in Holder with Grips, Umbrella Spike, 25-40 mm, Camping, Beach, Grey, 43 x 22 x 10 cm

This is the 2nd one of these we’ve bought as they’re so good! We keep them in our campervans for use camping, at the beach & festivals. The built in handles are a great idea. A bit bulky to store but lightweight to carry. At a festival during a heatwave the other year everyone was struggling to get their parasols into the bone dry ground, but we were sorted!

Whilst attempting to place into the ground one of the handles broke off. (ground was made moist before placing) we then put up the umbrella and within a hour the umbrella was laid on the lawn, the spike had completely broken two. Completely useless . Waste of money. Tried to contact the seller but to no avail absolutely disgusted. Requested returns label but could not get it to work at the shop. Have now thrown it in the bin but have taken photos. No stars given as there is not a minus one.

Simple to erect and the only minor problem is handles could be sturdier for my local beach is shingle not sand and screw has less purchase

Two core issues for the 2 star review.1. It was missing the handles... I tried to install anyway but couldn't so had to arrange return and replacement (a bit of a faff)2. While it says up to 40mm that is barely. I have a 38mm washing pole and it only fits into the very top of the anchor where the black plastic bit is.Overall I'm not confident how long this is going to last but for £9 I can live with it until I need to replace

Absolutely useless - on third rotation into our lawn it cracked through. Not fit for purpose as something to be used in a lawn. Maybe a sandy beach might be OK, we’ll never know as this is trashed.

Used it for a flag stand in the middle of a field , stayed strong all weekend , perfect , easy to put in and take out

good value good delivery time works well

I installed it and then added my clothes airer. Shortly after adding the clothes I noticed everything was looking slightly wonky so I attempted to straighten it up, only for the whole thing to snap, leaving me with the plastic still screwed into the grass and the top fixed to my airer. Not very good at all if that's all it can withstand.

Ha delle dimensioni importanti, quindi non entra in tutte le borse, ma è molto resistente e pratico. In pochi secondi lo si pianta nella sabbia e si apre l'ombrellone senza pericolo. Consigliato.

Says it will for 25-40mm rod. Or sure how anything smaller than the hole will stay put. Did not come with any extra parts either. Useless for our small beach parasol.
