Alba Botanica Daily Moisturizing Lotion, Dry to Very Dry Skin, with Shea Butter and Coconut Oil, 32 Oz (Packaging May Vary)

This lotion is fantastic! It's rich and moisturizing without feeling greasy, making it perfect for soothing my skin after time in the sun. I also love that it's fragrance-free, which is a huge plus for sensitive skin. It leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrated, and comfortable.

I have used this product for years and recently, the only place I can find it is on Amazon. It's a non-scented lotion that I love and is very emollient.

Very moisturizing, thick, but not oily. No scent.

This is from my wife: I have bought Unscented Original lotion several times starting 2016, from a different site. This was the first time I got it from Amazon - I noticed a great price (that didn't last long), and ordered three bottles. I usually keep one in the bathroom and one at my desk at work, to put a little on my hands after washing, and some of my coworkers are very sensitive to smells, even from some products that advertised as unscented. I love this lotion. It is very moisturizing and gentle. The unscented one doesn't have synthetic perfumes and no overpowering essential oils smells, too, just a faint lotion smell that doesn't stay with you for long. It’s never left a white lathery film on my skin, as some reviewers' pictures show; my skin just absorbs it. Maybe I just apply a smaller amount. Many reviewers note is that the bottles are often not full. Well, all three that I just got are filled to about a point between the top of the text on the back of the bottle and the point where the bottle starts to round up. I see that the bottle is marked by weight, not by volume. So I weighed it on a food scale, separately an empty bottle and a full bottle. The weight is correct, just what it states. Having said that, I need to point out that NONE of the few bottles I tried so far had a working pump, from the first one in 2016 to the one of the three that I just received (I haven't tried to open two of the three yet.) No matter how much I twisted and turned it, and whatever other trick I tried, I just couldn't unscrew the pump open. Many reviewers mentioned exactly the same problem, so it is not a one-off broken pump, it’s a whole stock of them that Alba Botanica acquired from a bad supplier and keep using for years, without any regard for customers’ complaints. I didn’t bother to return or complain, I just used pumps from different brands that have similar bottles, as I usually keep around a couple for bottles that are sold without a pump. But I deduct one star just for that. If a great brand can’t figure out appropriate packaging that protects the contents, is convenient to use as a dispenser, and consistently works, something is not right in that picture. And the last. For any lotion, not just this. At least one reviewer already mentioned that trick. If the tube of the pump doesn't go all the way down to the bottom of the bottle, and you can't pump all of the lotion out, using sharp scissors cut the bottle open above the level of the lotion left, and transfer the lotion out into another container. You would be able to use it all.

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but this product deserves one! First, the shipping and packaging were outstanding. The bottle wasn’t simply thrown into a box, it was carefully placed in a protective holder to prevent it from being squeezed or leaking, then secured inside another box. That alone showed me how much this company cares about its products and customers. Best of all, the product actually works! Hands down, I will be purchasing it again.

This is great lotion. It's the right consistency, smooth and while it takes a little effort to run it in if you use too much, just start with less and add more until you get the hang of it. It really hydrates my skin well and can even be used on the face in a pinch. Small amounts. It is indeed very emollient. I like there are no toxic chemicals and while a little pricey, it lasts a long time. Because it is...very emollient. As a side note: I even add some virgin coconut oil. Not that it's necessary, but it makes even smoother and... yes, more emollient. I have surgical scars on my back and keeping them hydrated helps with the pain.

I have used this lotion for many years and was pleased to find it on Amazon. It is a fragrance free, non-greasy lotion that takes care of my dry skin. Goes on easily and absorbs quickly.

I have been buying this lotion for a number of years and really like it. I never had any problems with the condition of it when it arrived or using the pump bottle. However, the last two times I ordered, it came in new packaging - a yellow plastic bottle instead of the former white one. The first yellow bottle had a white lid and pump, which was broken and fell off when I took the shipping plastic around the pump off. But I was able to put the pump back in the lid and it worked okay, so I didn't return it. This time it came in the new yellow plastic bottle again with a green lid and pump. The lotion had leaked out into the plastic bag that was around the bottle and made a mess all over the outside of the bottle. When I tried to open the pump so it would work, it just spun around and around and the pump wouldn't pop up, no matter how hard I pushed down on it to get it to release. Of course, from the leakage during shipping, it was still very slippery, even though I thought I'd wiped off the excess. Finally, my husband was able to put enough pressure on the pump mechanism to get it to pop up, and now it works fine. I will probably order one more time, but if there are any more issues with the poor packaging of the product or the way it arrives after shipping, I definitely will not be ordering again, which would be a great disappointment, as I really like this lotion.

Como varias de las reseñas mencionan, el olor sí no es tan agradable, pero con poquita crema tengo para que me deje la piel humectada. Aparte de que me la deja super suave. Si está un poco cara, pero me ha durado bastante. La volveré a comprar.

I am delighted to find this item again, as I had used it before. As I've aged, my skin has become so dry, flaky and soemtimes sore. Alba really does go into the skin to nourish it and keep it soft for longer than other moisturisers, some of which have a tendency to just sit on top of the skin. The fabulous 32oz bottle is very good value for money, and believe me I've tried a few. This is the best I've found.

Tengo eczemas y por mucho tiempo estaba buscando una alternativa Cruelty Free para mi piel. Antes por recomendación de la dermatóloga usaba La Roche Posay Lipikar Baume y les juro que no encontraba nada que le hiciera competencia pero esta crema lo cambió todo. Su textura es prácticamente la misma que la de La Roche Posay y mi piel se siente hidratada. Además de que por el precio y la gran cantidad que tiene conviene más comprarla. 10/10 ✨
