LEKEYE Drain Hair Catcher/Bathtub Drain Cover/Drain Protector for Pop-Up & Regular Drains(Patented Product)

Surprised I am writing a review of a drain cover, but this one deserves the cudos! It is heavy so it stays in place, it catches all the hair, and is simple to rinse off at the sink. Best of all, the water drains out while I am showering. Love it.

Excellent bathtub drain hair catcher! The metal dome has a good height that comfortably fits over pop-up drains, and its weight helps hold it down. The nubby silicone rim is what does the major job of catching hair. The hair catcher works great, is easy to clean, and is sturdy. I would definitely buy this item again.

Actually hard to rate. It works very well to trap hair and debris. Outstanding actually in that regards. Unfortunately because it does so well you have to clean it rather thoroughly after each use. You also have to clean underneath it as any soapy products or micro pieces are caught. It fits well over the existing plug that extends out. And seems sturdy. After removing hair, the holes come clean with basic cleaning sprays and little effort. It seems to cause water to puddle more while you’re in the shower even when clean. All that said, it’s better than having clogged pipes and much better priced than a plumber. Chose this version because did not want to unscrew the existing stopper if a bath was desired rather than a shower.

I have long thick hair and this works super well at catching hair. The rubber on the bottom does cause a little water puddling around it and can keep some thicker conditioners and soaps and such from draining completely. I just rinse it every few showers and pull hair off when it builds up and it works perfectly. This has been the only shower hair catcher that works. It still looks and works perfectly after a year plus!

Works very well in my shower, so I bought a second for my bathroom sink. It stops hairs etc. from going down the drain very well. In addition to removing hairs every few days, it needs to be cleaned periodically. I’ve been using diluted vinegar, then drying thoroughly.

I have had this product, the Lekeye Drain Hair Catcher for about 10 days. It is wonderful. It catches my long hair 10X better than the plastic hair catcher I was using prior to this. At the end of my shower i pick up the hair that has been caught and it is tremendous, i actually have their to pick up!! My previous catcher barely caught any hair. So, I am impressed that my new Lekeye hair catcher now catches my hair and it doesn’t go down the drain. The bottom of the Lekeye Drain Hair Catcher is a soft, pliable rubber type material and it seals around the tiled floor in my shower. We have a pop-up drain stopper and hair catcher is tall enough to accommodate it’s height. The upper part of the hair catcher is metal and has all the little holes in it for the water to drain through is gentle on my feet. I accidentally slid my foot across it and it didn’t hurt at all. Even the little drain holes on the top part did not hurt; they are manufactured in a way that there are no sharp edges. Speaking of the drain holes, there are plenty of them so that the water drains quickly through it. There is no back up of water at all. I love this Lekeye Drain Hair Catcher and recommend it to all.

I was pretty happy with the way this sits over my bathtub drain, and it seems to catch hair. However, I've been disappointed by the amount of hair that somehow gets past it and clogs our drain anyway. Still looking for something better.

Nice design, stays in place, catches hair and lint and threads from washcloths. Keeps my drains free and clear in the bathroom shower and sink, and kitchen sink too (I bought different sizes and styles to fit my drains) Lekeye makes quality products!

Size is about the size of my palm and pretty easy to use. I do wish there is a larger version though as I have another shower that has a much larger drain hole. I got this as I cannot stand the thought of digging up hairs so this makes shower much easier to clean. I am hoping that this metal won't rust but for now, it works.

This has been one of the best drain hair catchers I’ve used. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do and catches virtually everything before it can go down the drain. It’s easy to remove, simple to clean, and has helped keep my shower drain from clogging. The only downside I’ve noticed is that it’s developed a bit of discolouration since I purchased it. It doesn’t affect how it works, but it would be nice if the finish held up a little better over time. Overall, it’s an excellent product that performs exactly as advertised. Despite the minor cosmetic discolouration, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an effective way to keep hair or other debris out of their shower drain.
