The diffuser is a very impressive device it's a larger than expected product I admit I didn't look to see if there were or are any measurements listed I just didn't expect it to be so large. As already stated by another reviewer the pictures used to advertise the product are false though similar they are not correct the spout at the top in the advertisement pictures show a reasonably smooth spout the one I was sold has a spout of roughly 2-3cm which gives the impression of a tear drop a more agreeable and aesthetically pleasing look in my opinion. The look of the shell when not switched on and lit I believe still doesn't look out of place the surface has a mirrored effect with an oily sheen through it with what looks like a repeating pattern of small holes in the mirrored surface that once the lighting is switched on produces the star bust effect. The shell is made from a very very thin glass which puts me in mind of the Christmas bauble tree decorations that are very easy to crack or smash so great care I recommend be taken when handling. The diffuser works be using an ultrasonic mist maker which is held in a plastic cup which has markings on it to let you know how much water to add for the correct level so fill to this level add 2-3 drops of essential oil put a cone shaped lid on the cup which is supplied this funnels the vapour up and out of the shells spout. Around the outside at the base of the cup is a ring of multi-coloured LEDs and above those a very soft sealing ring that deforms and grips the shell when it's pushed back down into place. on the side of the plastic fake wood effect base there are two buttons 1 x On/Off 1 x Light Control the button for the LEDs works as such 1st press turns LEDs on 2nd Starts the cycle of colour choice i.e. press it once after 1st press LEDs change to green next press they turn to blue next press they turn red and so on until all colours have been used then they go white then off then the whole process repeats unless you stop on a colour or if you only press once for the 1st press which then allows the LEDs to cycle through the colours themselves if you wish to turn the LEDs Off at any point instead of cycling through to the end simply hold the light button for roughly 3 seconds and the LEDs will turn Off.When the diffuser is on with a full cup it will last approx. 3-4hrs the vapour produced is quite substantial in my opinion and with some nice oil the visual effect of the LED star burst and the changing colours is mesmerizing with some nice Lavender oil I find it very relaxing.I will add some pictures very soon.

I love how it looks. It is stunning! The pictures that you are shown are actually not the actual air diffuser. It actually has a long bit from where the mist comes out, probs like you have seen on others ones. So its not smooth on the top. But still pretty amazing , would be better if same as picture [the pictures are fake] would be better if it came with a Minnie jug to help put the water in. It seems to be working fine but I have only had it for 3 days, I think it would be better if everything was set right and everything didn't seem so dodgey because as soon as I bought it , it went out of stock. Is it worth 35 pounds? well maybe if it had a jug. Oh and btw [by the way] the bottom isn't actually wood , its plastic.

It is a pretty thing, when the light is on the infinity type glass is mesmerising and quite beautiful. My only real complaints about it are the difficulty in taking it apart to fill, the very slight mist affect and the ascetics with regard to the cheap plastic base. Otherwise I’m happy with the purchase. It is very pretty.

This is lovely. Arrived next day and used everyday since. I love it. My second ine now and this one was a lot cheaper.

I cannot get it to change color it just won't start the sequence . What am I doing wrong
