The media could not be loaded. I'm so glad I bought this! I gave me the feel of having my gel nails back, without having to go to the salon. It comes with everything you need, including a UV light. It's fairly quick to do, but having to move fast is also what makes it tricky.You just fill the mold with the colors you like, you can even add glitter or gems. You put a little base coat on your brush to smooth the gel to fill the mold. The tricky part is once you put it on your nail, you have to be quick to clean excess off your cuticles, and smooth underneath the nail. The cuticle part will come off pretty easy, but if you don't smooth underneath, the nail will be chunky. If you don't like your nails flat on top, I recommend putting a small dot of gel at the top of the nail after its cured, smoothing it, then curing again. Then just file down for shape on top, flush underneath the nail, and the sides (something else I'm working on because I don't like them so square! Haha)Practice makes perfect, and this kit came with enough material to make several sets of nails. I will definitely be buying more clear gel, and more sparkle gels! I can't give an accurate estimate as to how long they stay because I've been doing renovations, so they keep popping off, but I'll update later.

Mine came defective, so when I tried to use it, it didn’t work at all. I’m not sure if others have had this problem or if it was just me. I’ve tried to get in contact with the company and have yet to receive any feedback. So if you’re expecting to get a good lamp with the kit, I wouldn’t suggest purchasing this item. Otherwise, the rest of the kit worked well. Of course, the first time using it is always a challenge. But once you get the hang of it and understand the technique,You’ll love it. I’d give this kit all 5 stars if my lamp had worked.UPDATE: I was able to get in touch with customer service. Weirdly enough, The lamp began working after trying to use it again. Everything worked out. So, now giving it 5 stars!

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been contemplating for a while whether or not I should purchase this product. I love getting my nails and feet done however I would spend anywhere between $65-$125 depending where I go and what I’m getting . I just was approved for my first apartment and realistically spending that kind of money is not feasible. I watched longhairprettynails on YouTube for a while and based on her results I thought it would be beginner friendly . I think I watch almost 35 videos before purchasing this product . The packaging is nice and considering everything was included even the lamp was a selling point . I did go and purchase some 70% rubbing alcohol to use as my slip solution because I was not comfortable using the base coat. In the beginning it was a little tricky however I was able to find my groove . The lamp was a good thing to have if you do not have a lamp however I will buy a bigger lamp just to save time . Also the nails were not hard to file . My cuticle work needs some practice however I am very pleased with my nails and will not go back to a nail salon . This kit will save me thousands of dollars. If you are willing to invest the time to save money and also like to pick up a new hobby this will be a great product . I know this review will say it is coming from Tyrone however I am his sister 😂 so this opinion is coming from a woman .

So - I had to take off a star because my UV/LED lamp that came with the kit didn’t work at all, meaning I had to purchase a different one - and half the reason I chose this kit in particular was that it came with one.The instructions that come with it are not sufficient to do a good job if it’s your first time. It took me several YouTube videos before I learned what I was doing wrong following the directions that came with it. The most helpful of those was a series on polygels by “Nailed by Nikki”, if you’re looking to start polygels yourself.The kit does not come with any nail primer. Get nail primer if you don’t already have it, it’s essential to make everything work.I do like the thickness of the polygels included, and it does work well to use 70% alcohol as slip solution. The dual forms it comes with are also very easy to use.The poly gel doesn’t seem to be soak-off, which is what I will be trying next, but each tube seems to contain enough gel for 4-5 sets of medium-length nails. (I only had one that worked, but I was also trying to do it based only on the instructions the first three times and didn’t understand the importance of primer yet the 4th try).

Let me start off by stating that I am not a professional nail artist. Nonetheless, this product is great to use. I have always been the type to add my own gemstones, paint my nails, etc. However, regular polish does not last long and other gel polishes are not effective.This brand is great -truly. I wanted to wait until my nails began “messing up.” Well, most of them are holding on and growing out normally. I’m changing them out after three weeks because two or three nails were lifting.The key with this product is watching as many youtube videos on how to apply poly gel as possible. The nail gel pots were good, but were difficult to use. However, I figured it out for the most part. Honestly, if you like doing your nails, or are refusing to be a guinea pig for the reopening of states this quickly, you will be able to master this item. Note: I purchased a MelodySusie drill.
