This is exactly what I needed to hold my needlework hoops in exactly the right place. This stand is way bigger than I thought it was going to be. You can put this on the floor in front of your chair and it will be the right to stitch from. My first comment was it’s enormous and I haven’t changed that opinion. All in all I’m very pleased with this stand, the one thing that I wish it would do is rotate my hoop instead of having to take the hoop off the stand to get to the back of the work....... The quality is impressive!

Pros : This is a great embroidery stand. No longer get back or neck pains. Very big steady base. Extremely easy to alter, depending on how you sit.Easy to use, yes I would definitely recommend purchasing this stand.The delivery was super fast.Cons : The plastic bolt to hold the embroidery ring isn't very reliable. Keeps coming loose. Doesn't hold the embroidery ring very well. I have to keep tightening the plastic bolt. I would have given 5 Stars if the bolt was better thought out.

I was so excited to receive this frame, having previously returned a quilted Bear frame that broke after an hour. (The adjustment would, however, hold all my frames and hoops) This is a heavy and sturdy stand with oodles of adjustment and unlike the Quilted Bear seat frame, you can flip your work upside down to cast off/see the reverse of your work. It came virtually fully assembled, you just needed to unscrew the base of the arm and attach it to the base using the easy to use plastic and metal wing nuts.It has everything I need, there's just one snag ... It DOES NOT hold a tapestry frame... which the description states it does (up to 30")...I can hold a Hoop in my hand, but a frame of any size is heavy and cumbersome and you are limited to one hand sewing. I have every conceivable combination of sizes of the Elbesse sew on embroidery/tapestry frames. The frames can be anything from just over 2cm to 3.5cm in depth on the stretcher side of the frame (the sew on side is also around 2.5cm with work attached and rolled.This will only hold a Hoop or frame of just under 2cm. So NOT as described for holding embroidery frames of up to 30" which tend to be very chunky. If this just had a clip that had a greater adjustment, it would be perfect. However. It is not as described and therefore is not fit for purpose... Extremely Dissapointed.

First and foremost I must say superb seller. This was ordered on the Friday and arrived the following Tuesday. Slight problem with one of the tightening screws. E-Mail the seller that afternoon had a reply the same day and a new piece arrived on the Wednesday. What service. Now for a review on the stand. With being able to adjust each piece individually you can sit anywhere. I do most of my embroideries sitting on the sofa. And I can adjust to an angle that suits me. This is I find much better than sitting on a piece of wood. I have found that to get to the back of your work the easiest way is to loosen the second screw from the top and then loosen the top screw. By doing this using a gentle turn over you can get to the back very easily. Then you just flip your hoop back ( I do not re-tighten the top screw) then tighten the second screw down. I find it does not matter that the top screw is fairly loose. Also it is possible to leave out one or two of the arms if you want to make it smaller. If you are happy to sit on the fairly large base, this can be turned into a sit on embroidery stand, which could give you the best of both worlds.All in all I highly recommend both the seller and the floor stand.

Very disappointed with this, it doesn’t hold small hoops, I have large hoops as well but sadly can’t use my small hoop when I want to

Ich habe einen Stickständer gesucht der flexibel und robust ist und bin mit diesem sehr zufrieden. Durch die vielen Gelenke kann ich ihn ganz individuell immer genauso anpassen wie ich es gerade brauche. Der Fuß ist entsprechend schwer das nichts kippen kann und er ist sehr massiv gearbeitet. Der Preis hat mich erst abgeschreckt, aber ich bin froh mich für diesen entschieden zu haben. Ich kann damit am Schreibtisch genauso gut arbeiten wie auf dem Sofa und er ist klein zusammenlegbar wenn man ihn nicht braucht.
