Worked fine, good to repair broken mounting tabs - bosses.

Been wanting this for some time. It does a marvelous job "welding" or sealing plastics of many types. Fixed my wife's Pampered cook clear plastic measuring cup. Couldn't find a single replacement but this did the trick. We have not run it through a dishwasher so can't answer to that. At least it doesn't leak and cured relatively quickly in a day. If you follow instructions you'll have no problem applying it. Note: this comes in various colors depending on the job, such as repairing a red taillight. One caution: absolutely use in a well-ventilated room as the liquid curing agent has a tremendous odor and could cause a person to be ill. This disappears after curing, but during application it is strong enough to warrant an open window.

It's messy, hard to get good finish, but matching color was not so hard. I'm going to try sanding it a wee bit, then adding another layer to smooth. I also used to touch up dash where paint wore off. That worked

I gave this a shot to fix freezer drawers in which the slides had cracked due to the weight of the food. I was able to get a very solid (if not pretty) repair. It's holding well after 2 weeks. This is much better than any epoxy I have ever tried or any repair using CA glue and substrate. It seams to bond to the existing plastic extraordinarily well. One thing I would note is that the solvent will (unsurprisingly) melt the existing plastic and cause it to haze. Tape any areas where the solvent may flow (such as under the molding bar) that you want to protect.

Maybe I’m a little early in this review but I don’t think so. In the past I’ve melted plastic, glue and even a couple of combined processes to repair broken tabs and pieces of plastic for vehicle or everyday parts. While renovating a vehicle a part was broken on a steering wheel. The replacement part was not available at a reasonable price so I decided to try to fix it. Searching in Amazon I found this product. Using pliable clay as a mold I made the tab. Here 1 hour later I am truly impressed! I still have to install and see if it works, but kudos. I’ll follow up later but so far I like it and plan on using this in the future.

I have an evinrude etec 250 and I struck an underwater object so hard it broke to mounting clips off the back of my 3000$ computer. I took a chance on this product and after a bit of sanding and dremel tool work all mounts look the same as the unbroken one. Miracle really!!

It may not be pretty, but it worked! My Garmin 645 Music had a pin retaining hole break away and I had no way to keep my watch band secured. I got this plastex repair kit in black to match the color, and after a quick mix of the activator and the powder and dabbing the mixture onto the place where the break had occurred with a toothpick in place to keep a pin hole open, it was fixed! It took 30 minutes for the plastic to fully cure and I’ll be sanding it later to make the repair blend a little better, but this stuff was gel, and now it’s as hard as a rock and firmly adhered to the original plastic! I’ll post again later after it’s been exposed to a few shocks, but for now, I can whip my wrist, rap the counter sharply with the watch, and even pull gently on the band without the plastic breaking. If you have a small plastic repair you need to make, don’t hesitate. This stuff works well. Follow the instructions and make sure to get the right color. White, Clear, or Black.

Took a bit of getting used to, but mainly because I’m a bit cackhanded. But once I got to grips with how to use it it seems to have produced good results.

Worked like magic but the part I needed it for repair broke off with some pressure. I'm sure it would work for repairing other things on a motorcycle.

In my opinion, Plastex is the best product on the market for repairing cracked motorcycle side covers. We were also able to re-attach a broken-off mounting tab on one cover. With practice, the product can be applied in a few different ways, all described in the included instructions as well as YT videos. The best crack repair is obtained by following their instructions; using a Dremel or sharp tool, "trench out" the crack to create maximum surface area, then fill. The resulting bond is strong and flexible. We also succesfully repaired our refrigerator's cracked vegetable drawer as well as a broken part of the fridge door. Having ordered the product in black, I found the dried colour to be a bit washed out. Since most visible repairs will likely be refinished, I have ordered my next batch in clear. The standard kit provides ample product for numerous repairs. Overall, an excellent product for plastic repair.

The kit arrived in perfect condition and contains quite a bit of product. I am thoroughly impressed with how well it works! We were able to repair the latch on my center console (I forgot to take a before photo) and it's holding together really well so far! It's better than the super glue fix I had done previously which had to be reapplied often due to it not adhering, but the Plastex repair hasn't budged at all! The adhesive is strong/durable and worked well even on such a small fix. The application process was straightforward, with clear instructions that made it easy to follow. And they even have a link to videos showing how to fix various items, which helped! Fixing the latch didn't use that much product either, so I reckon I can fix many smaller items with this kit! I also appreciate that it is suitable for various types of plastic, making it a versatile addition to my toolkit. Overall, this product exceeded my expectations in terms of effectiveness and ease of use. It's a must-have for anyone looking to repair plastic items without the need for professional help. Highly recommended!
