Catkin Rouge Matte Lipstick, Nude Waterproof Long Lasting Carving Satin Moisturizing Smooth Soft 0.13 Ounce-Chinese Style (CO137)

First off, the engraving is gorgeous and I love the magnetic lid. I've been searching for a spice color that wasn't too orange or too brown and 137 is perfect. I ordered 5 more! In the pictures I have out of the tube matte and one with a touch of gloss. I prefer the touch of gloss but it does make it transfer vs more staying power. I also have a pic of 157, which is a very nice nude. TIP- only screw up as little as you need to apply, don't put it on all the way up and don't be aggressive and there shouldn't be any trouble with breaking.

The dude I bought (with green trees on the outside) looked in the photo like it had more of a pink tone to it than it did in real life. It’s a very orange brown. It doesn’t stay in place very well but not any worse than other cheap cream lipsticks. I didn’t notice feathering or smudging on my face which is a plus. I was just not over all impressed with the shade (which was partly my fault since it was the only one without a photo of a model wearing it so I had to just judge by the color on the tube in the photo) or the staying power. The tube itself is nice though not quite as sturdy feeling as I expected based on other reviews. If it were cheaper I might try a different shade but I don’t really want to keep playing a guessing game on how it actually looks.

Completely won over by this product. The other five star reviews have given enough praises. I agree with them all: beautiful packaging, creamy texture, easy to apply, great price compared to luxury brands but with even better quality. Here are some shade selection tips from my purchase: CR138 is a dramatic red red, beautiful - but if you are not used to wearing red lipstick, it would be best for special occasions; CO135 - a darker red with some tint of brown and a subtle satin finish that's almost matte, would be great for fall, everyday wear or special occasion; CO 137 is best for everyday wear: it's pigmented enough, but not aggressive or loud at all, a matte coral without too much orange, just perfect!

This is absolutely beautiful. I love taking it out when my friends are around. Oh’s and aw’s abound. It is stunning but it doesn’t last as long as I would like. It is easy to put on, great slip.

The color is so lovely!! It comes off as a pretty shade of brown red and great for every day wear! I love catkin lipsticks!

Lipstick was melted

They broke once I started to use the lipstick. Very disappointed. I have used this trademark so many times and have recommended it to my friends.

At first I bought these lipstick for their packaging, and the real products look even better than the picture. After trying it on, I can say the quality of these lipstick have exceeded my expectations too. The CO137 shade is a red-ish brown which is perfect for fall/winter. It falls on the warm side rather than being too vibrant and looks very natural even without any makeup on. I feel like it bring out a brighter complexion on the skin. CR136 is lighter than CO137 and has more red than brown. Great for everyday use. They also really moisterizing, comparative to my dior 999. The staying power is strong and lasts several hours but need some reapplication after eating a meal, which I'd say is normal for most lipsticks. (I'll keep editing the review as I try on more colors...)

This one was okay not the best it’s a little bit too expensive for me

The lipstick is really creamy and the colour is beautiful. I gave it 3 stars because the lipstick is broken of at the base.
