1PZ 743-20-30 CVT Drive Belt for GY6 125cc 150cc 152QMI 157QMJ

Waited for 700km (437mi) of use before writing this review. The stock belt on my 150cc was showing heavy signs of wear, causing vibrations at higher speeds and almost falling apart, so I decided to replace it before it left me stranded. Dealer was asking for ~$25 for a belt; I bought this instead. After 700km (437mi), it has kept up just fine. For context, I commute 60km daily to work and my average speed is ~31-40mph. I'm 6,3 and 205lbs, so this belt has handled the abuse just fine. I'll open the CVT cover soon to see how it's wearing and will update the review. Update: Added a picture. Belt now has 1,214km (758mi) and still looks brand new. The stock CVT belt would fill the CVT case with rubber dust and shavings, meanwhile this belt has not done that. I'll keep checking. Very satisfied so far. Update [July 31, 2026]: Second picture. Today the belt snapped and shredded while commuting. Belt had 3,605km (2,253mi). Overall the belt lasted 2 months. Having tools and the original belt on the cargo box helped me replace it on the side of the road and get home. I'm keeping the rating at 5 stars because it's a 150cc scooter, I weight 200lb and I ride it hard for ~60km every day, so I feel satisfied with it.

So this was for a friend of mine and she had someone else install it for her, (huge mistake, but we all have to learn some time lol) and they had installed the belt inside out and almost caused a bunch of damage to the belt, scooter, and driver at the time. But once I was able to take a look at the problem and installed the now chewed up belt correctly, the belt has been holding up and driving like a champ even after it had been installed inside out. Definitely recommend this belt for whatever application you happen to need it for as it is highly versatile, well made, and fit perfectly! Solid product for sure

Good quality at the job

The belt seems to be very good quality. I have two Gio Arctica snow machines and they are manufactured using the short case GY6 engine at 180 cc. Last winter we blew a belt on one of the machines and I had to tow the machine home. The manual gave no indication of the replacement belt. I had to start figuring this out on my own. Not an easy process - believe me. After opening up the case the original belt was shredded and blown into little bits. It was about 6 years old but I did find a section with "...43 20 30." I predicted the "7" was likely correct. This belt is what I decided to order as a replacement based on the fragments. It fit perfectly. The rubber material is thick and looks robust. The inside fibres are kevlar, which I wanted for longer life and reliability. After installing the belt and putting everything back together, I tested the belt, and it worked excellent. There was some initial work in (slight burnt rubber smell as it seated its self properly into the primary and secondary clutches) but just for the first 10-20 seconds with rpm's around 3000. Anyways, the belt seems much better quality over the original. My GY6 engine, in the Gio Arctica snow machine, is a 180 cc. Lots of low end torque and rounds out to about 45-50 kilometres at top speed. Very very happy with this belt at a very respectable price. Just thought I would write a review in case others are wondering if this would fit their Gio Arctica.

It fits my 2022 honda navi.

Fitted the hammerhead gt150 . Will be ordering another as a spare.
