I would recommend getting this and then maybe buying another one similar to it. Like the 3000 questions book. Review: Awesome book, in perfect condition! - This is a fun and intersting time passing book. All the questions are straightforward and easy to comprehend. I love the font, book cover and quality of the paper. This is the only book you would ever need for asking people questions or even answering the questions yourself. It fits in most size purses and is easy to read, decent font and good print. Thanks for such a good book, hope my comment helps any of you who need to receive a good answer to any of your questions you may be asking yourself.

with the intent to make him more comfortable with casual conversations and meeting new people
This is the coolest book ever!! I bought it for my son for his high school graduation, with the intent to make him more comfortable with casual conversations and meeting new people. I have now introduced it to my co-workers as a way to make more personal connections with our customers. And you can open it up at a party or with a group of friends at any gathering to get a great discussion started instantly. LOVE IT!!!!

Got what I needed and, um...more?
I was looking for a book that might give me a few INTERESTING questions to keep in the back of my mind when I go into situations where small talk is needed. This book was a Forrest Gump-like box of chocolates, and I did not expect what I got. Some of the questions fit my needs, like: โขโWould you get into a driverless vehicle? Do you think driverless vehicles are the future?โ โขโDo you get your news from Twitter or other social media?โ โขโWill you let a robot physically assist you or monitor you as you get older?โ Then there are the zany questions that Iโd find a way to work into a conversation somehow because I think theyโd start a good talk. โขโWill time travel ever exist for humans?โ โขโHow much would you pay to be a space tourist?โ โขโHave you ever purchased an โAs Seen on TVโ item?โ And then thereโs a third type of questions, which I frankly canโt imagine using anywhere other than a therapistโs office. I know I wonโt be asking questions like this at the office Christmas party: โขโCan you love your stepparents or adopted parents as much as a biological parent?โ โขโDo you know anyone with an Autism Spectrum Disorder?โ โขโHave you ever visited a deceased friend or relative in a cemetary a year after they died?โ โขโWhat is your most horrifying childhood memory of your parents?โ (Honestly, why do any of these seem like good conversation topics? The theme of pain abounds in the family & friends section. Eek.) There are also wildly political questions, like these, which you might want to get into but I definitely wonโt be... โขโWill you sign up for the ACA/Obamacare or pay the penalty?โ โขโShould people with mental health issues be allowed to own guns?โ โขโShould victims of terrorism and mass shootings be compensated?โ And then these, which I wonder why anyone would ask them of anyone else, either because theyโre nosy or just plain weird (both the asker and the questions): โขโDo you know your credit score? Do you know how to find out your credit score?โ โขโAre you still covered by your parentsโ health-care insurance?โ โขWould you take erectile dysfunction medication if you had a problem in that area?โ Overall...I had to do some digging to get what I was looking for. All of them require a lead in- they wouldnโt flow naturally with a conversation, but I guess thatโs somewhat to be expected. And some of them read like essay questions, so youโd need to rephrase to avoid sounding like you expected a 3-5 page MLA format paper due by Friday. Would I buy again? Mmm, maybe. But Iโd look into other conversation starter books first, I think.

Great For Journal Prompts
This book is perfect for use as a journal prompt book. When I am having trouble coming up with something to write, I just copy a few of these questions into my journal and go from there. With 4000 questions, I'm sure I won't be running out any time soon!

Helpful
Great book fรผr classrooms. Not every question is appropriate, but the amount is high enough to find alternatives quickly. I've used it several times now and recommended it to colleagues as well.
