Bandai Hobby 5057977 Hg #01 Gundam Barbatos Model Kit, from Gundam IBO

CONS- Som of the parts are not made with the best integrity but are not flimsy. For grown men like myself please do not use grown man strength when placing parts. I advise tweezers to place stickers. My stickers were ok, but some of them did not have enough adhesive to stick such as the eyes so I used super glue. Keep smaller parts in the box until used or you will lose them. DIRECTIONS NOT IN ENGLISH(still very self explanatory and easy to follow so do no panic). YOU WILL NEED CLIPPER TWEEZERS or the smallest of beauty scissors(is what I used). Sidenot I will be purchasing a Gundam building kit to make the next build process a bit more easy for me. PROS- Great model all around. Not to challenging. Great at keeping the mind focused I enjoyed myself very much to be truthful. Not too time consuming. I watched season 1 Episodes 1-7 of Mobile Suit Iron-Blooded Orphans while building this and this is was very 1st build. Great detail in every piece made. Money wise the price is excellent for what you get. My box was not damaged in any sense as well. All around a great fit size is about 6 inches total height I’d say. This is just the 1st of hundreds of Gundam models.

As usual, the HG Gundam Barbatos kit is all press-fit. This means that you don't need any glue or tools to assemble it. But... That's not quite true in this case. These old IBO kits are notorious for loosening-up over time. There's a few specific parts that I'd recommend gluing together. And I'd also recommend applying some matte topcoat to most of the joints to ensure they stay tight. There's plenty of additional information on how to fix these builds online - take a look before starting your build. Beyond that caveat, it's a pretty good kit to build. There's a somewhat-surprising level of detail for a high grade kit. There's an almost-complete inner-frame. There's fully-molded AHAB reactors inside the chest, even though they're almost-completely hidden by the armor. The head detail is fantastic. And the kit comes with options to build both the first and fourth forms of Barbatos. This basically comes down to shoulder armor and an alternate left arm... But it still gives you more variety to the build Unfortunately there's some fairly-egregious color-correcting stickers, too. A couple leg sections, for example, have huge dark-grey stickers that probably could've been separate bits of plastic. So I might recommend painting some of the kit instead of using the included stickers. Ultimately it's yet another fantastic high grade kit... With a few extra challenges here and there.

It’s super cool! Easy to put together! My boyfriend finished it in 2 hours! Great quality and super flexible and free to move! The stickers stayed on super well! The size is about half of an iPhone.

This was my first gundam and even though I was a beginner I found it very easy and fun to build. I would not recommend this for more experienced builders as it is simple as far as gundam builds go. I also want to address the reviews saying the parts come off easily-as long as you follow the instructions and make sure to cut every peice correctly as well as place them in the right spot, everything should be fine. I have posed my barbatos many times and have not had problems. The backpack however, has two identical parts and one of them would not fit on all the way and fell off when I would place weapons on it so I swapped the two pieces and they both fir perfectly in place so make sure to improvise if you have problems as well. Overall I'd just really reccomend this to beginners, I had a lot of fun and cant wait to build more!

Lo compré y estoy haciendo mi colección. Está figura es genial, sencilla de armar, pero los stickers son difíciles de pegar. Vale la pena si te gusta Barbatos.
