Very good time and quality

At the time of this review, there are SURPRISINGLY few good cases for the 10.5-inch iPad Air. I was debating going with the Otterbox Defender, but I opted for this case when I saw that it is compatible with the Apple Smart Cover or Smart Keyboard attachment. In addition to durability, being able to prop up my iPad as well as having a built-in Apple Pencil holder is incredibly important to me. This case satisfies all requirements. The case is a clear, hard, plastic, so the color of the back of iPad can be shown off, and the edges are a slightly softer plastic. The softer portion of the case adds a generous lip around the glass of the iPad, and makes me feel confident that my iPad won't sustain damage if accidentally dropped. The case initially comes with a removable piece of plastic on the side where the Apple Smart Cover or Smart Keyboard can be attached. The Smart Cover fits perfectly onto my iPad, even with the Otterbox Symmetry case on it. I was actually surprised how hard it was to find this case. It's not available in any nearby stores, I didn't see it on the Otterbox website, and it has so few reviews.

This is a great case for my iPad Air! I love that they allowed compatibility for use with the Apple Smart Cover (I ordered separately for the front). The 2 together are a perfect combination! It’s not bulky but still feels protected. I was concerned it wouldn’t hold my Apple Pencil sufficiently but it actually holds it in very securely.

This product is made, just like every other otterbox item out there. But there are a few things to note: 1. It’s bulky. It adds a considerable amount of weight to your iPad. Which, for the amount of protection it provides, is worth it (to me) 2. It has a glossy finish. Which means it’s prone to scratches and catches all the fingerprints, regardless of whether or not you just washed your hands. I’ve had it for less than 24 hours and I already see a lot of scratches on mine and I don’t even remember placing it on a hard surface. 3. It’s… an awkward fit. It’s snug in some areas, and loose in others. The border surrounding the screen is incredibly secure. Great for protection, horrible for imperfectly applied screen protectors and paperlike films applied on the iPad. IT WILL PEEL OFF UNLESS YOU APPLY THE OTTERBOX CASE FIRST AND FIT THE SCREEN PROTECTOR OVER THE AVAILABLE SPACE. It’s loose in the back. The back panel creaks when you hold it lightly, or even when you have the iPad resting on its back so you can write on it. The sound gets annoying fast. (This happens even with the side attachment removed, so the noise not due to the friction.) Overall opinion: worth your money if you’re looking for security and protection for your iPad. But if little details like the ones I mentioned bother you, then you should opt for something else.

Love it! Just what I needed! No stores sell cases for the model of iPad. Easy connect to my keyboard too.

I was initially hesitant to spend such a pretty penny on a clear back case. However, as always, Otterbox has proven that their products are worth every cent! I love how well built this case is and the fact that it is compatible with an Apple Smart Keyboard is an added bonus!

For what you get it seems overpriced. It fits my iPad Air 10.5 inch. Installation was tough but manageable. I don’t care for the pencil holder and wish it was removable. For the price you’d think it was some kind of space age scratch resistant polymer, but no it’s plastic with a bit of flexible trim around the edge. I would not buy again unless it was $20 or less.

This was a replacement purchase for me, I purchased this same case with my original I pad air purchase, the original case had aged a bit over time and I was delighted to find the same model. It's a clear case but it has proven to be very protective

I bought this case to replace an old one that had sustained a lot of damage after a year of heavy use. I’m happy with the new case as it’s identical to the one I’m replacing and I was thrilled to get it for about a third of the price I originally paid at Apple. This case is a perfect fit for my Ipad Air 3, and I like having a clear case so I can see my pretty rose gold ipad. Realistically, it will not last forever, but it did protect my ipad from many hard drops onto very hard basement floors, which is what I bought it for. I drop things a lot because some problems in my brain, and I’m happy that my ipad is still in great shape, even if the case isn’t. I think it should have lasted longer for the $100 original price, but feel like the Amazon price was fair for how long it has lasted.

The item arrived in a crumpled green Grab box and the black Otterbox package was full of mould! The clear plastic case for the iPad Pro 10.5" was mouldy too.

Joli, solide et laisse voir la beauté de l’iPad. Il est de plus possible d'enlever une partie et utiliser une cover. Le prix est un peu élevé, man is il le vaut bien.

Great quality iPad case and fits easy enough and works in harmony with the apple 10.5 smart keyboard, case fits easy enough and is very robust and Apple Pencil fits into elastic holder very well and is very secure , very happy with case and should last for many many of years . Ive added a few photos to show how well it looks with keyboard and pencil . Very happy and yes i can highly recommend the iPad Pro 10.5 case , we have been using otterbox cases for a while now for iPhones but this is the first iPad case purchased and yes i am very happy .

Grazie al programma Amazon Vine Voice ho potuto testare questa cover per iPad Air e iPad Pro, arriva all'interno di un bel packing dove troviamo oltre ad essa, garanzia e istruzioni per installazione. Ho testato questa cover con il mio iPad Pro del 2017 (10.5) e risulta perfettamente compatibile Questa cover e di materiale plastico con la cornice in silicone e possibile montarla in due modalità, la prima che copre completamente tutti i lati del nostro iPad la seconda staccando un pezzo di cover e lasciando libero il lato sinistro e cosi poter collegare al smart connector una tastiera ho un ulteriore periferica. La cover oltre ad essere trasparente, lascia liberi tutti i connettori (jack audio e lightning) , fotocamera , e ha rialzamenti in silicone sui pulsanti volume per poterli utilizzare piu agevolmente e dotata inoltre anche di un anello in cotone laterale destro per poter inserire una penna . La mia esperienza di utilizzo e stata positiva ho trovato installazione semplice e veloce forse all'inizio le prime volte bisogna far un po di forza nel' inserire l'iPad al suo interno in quanto il silicone risulta un po'- duro. MI sento di consigliarlo e una buona cover che oltre proteggere ha un bel design che lascia intravedere le forme l'iPad, ma non al prezzo di vendita attuale che valuto troppo alto per quello che offre.
