Slime Inner Tubes
I've used Slime products for many years and they work great. I worked at a bicycle store for nine years and Slime products were one of our most sold items. We have many goat head thorns where I live, so riders will either be patching every few miles or they will need something like a Slime product. When you get a thorn, pull out the thorn, spin the wheel, and the Slime fibers plug the hole. Before your next ride, fill up the air in your tires if needed and ride away. If you have a stubborn hole, fill up the air in your tires and turn the wheel to place the hole on the ground so gravity will pull all of the Slime to the hole. It's really that easy. Expect the inner tubes to last one to two riding seasons. The more you ride (and the more thorns that you get) the more often that you'll need to install more Slime or replace the inner tubes. Be sure to get the right size of tube for your tire. Inner tubes will have a range of widths that they fit. Something too small will stretch to fit a larger tire and be less effective. Something too big will fold or just not fit. Read the side of your tire to get the size of inner tube that you need.

Keep your valves pointing up at rest
Slime tubes are far, far better than regular tubes if you're at all flat-prone. I was popping a tube every 4 weeks before these, now I change tubes about once a year. But - you need to know how to use them. They take more technique than regular tubes.1) You need to store the bike with both valves pointing up. That is, the Slime should not be able to slip down the valve pipe towards the opening. It's going to permanently clog it and you're going to be upset. The best angle is 45 degrees; if you point it straight up, with the wheel rotated so the valve is sitting right at the bottom, the Slime can fill up the valve anyway from the bottom up and still clog it.2) You need to bike somewhat regularly. If you don't, then the first time you bike after long storage (weeks or more), the Slime barrier in old holes in the tube can dry and thin until it leaks. Fill the tube then bike a few small laps near the house. You might have a blow out while you do, that's that old hole giving way. Biking around spins the wheels and redistributes the Slime so no big deal, just pump the tire again and the Slime will fill it back in now that it's been spread back around the tube. Test it out again locally just in case before a big ride.3) You need to clear the valve before pumping. It can get little Slime bubbles inside it, so what I do is tap the valve to let a little air out one way, then pump it the other way. Often I need to break a thin Slime seal to start pumping. If you have a crappy pump or hand pump you're gonna need to replace it with a better pump.4) Slime wounds are kind of like real wounds: You want to stop the bleeding. The moment you hear that pop and spray sound, get off the bike to reduce pressure on the tire and find and cover the hole so the Slime has a chance to fill in before you lose all the air in it. If you're quick, it'll seal up like blood platelets before you lose too much air and you can just hop back on and keep riding. With all that in mind, though, Slime tubes really are great. I biked through a bunch of rose thorns some jerk shaved off directly into the bike path, everyone popped, mine filled itself right in.

Corroded Air Valve when New
While these tube are good for long term flat avoidance, with todays long supply lines, many new tubes have corroded air valves! They are made in China, and are packed in an air-tight plastic bag inside the box. This traps fumes from the new rubber, which in time corrodes the brass air valve, often to the point the valve can’t be opened to inflate the new tube!

Riding Insurance
I've been using Slimmed inner tubes for the last 20+ years and so far they've never let me down. So, when I bought a new road bike the first thing I did was pull out the inner tubes and replace them with Slimmed tubes. The rubber in the new Slimmed tubes was thicker and heavier than the original thinner and lighter inner tubes. The only way I could get the tire to slide past the valve section was to soap the inner tube and the outside of the tire. Once I applied a small bit of hand soap, a hard push let the tire slide past the valve section and fully seat in the rim.As an example of how effectively Slime can seal inner tubes while you ride, I once pulled the tires off an old mountain bike and the inner tubes had over 20 punctures sealed. The insides of the tires were covered with green Slime. Never even knew I had all those punctures. I was having too much fun riding off road in red rock country.I still carry patches and a pump just in case. On long rides over 20 miles I also carry a spare inner tube that I can just install and keep going in the event of a real blowout that Slime and patches can't fix. Although Slime has never left me stranded, it's best to have a plan "B" just in case.

Valve too short for my deep carbon rims
The valve is too short for my rims :( I tried an extender an it doesn't fit. I would appreciate any help finding a valve extender that would work with these.

Good but not without faults
These do incredibly well for small thorns and road hazards. Better tires with a high TPI solve most of the issues. However, in Arizona we have temps upwards of 120 degrees. This product does not help in these conditions as the sealant chemical gets runny and wet. Looses its viscosity and does not work.Pro = Thorn protection good for most seasons easy to install good most of the year for basic protection Price is reasonableCons = Added weight does not hold up well in hot conditions sprays sealant when checking pressure or adding air valve cores get coated with sealant and makes it hard to loosen on presta valve applications.I would still recommend this product for road bike riders who ride in areas where goat heads and other thorns are on the road way. Most flats are avoidable by staying away from the trash on the median.

Gran producto!

Didn't work for me!
Really disappointed with both the product and the trader who sold it to me. Tubes were fitted properly to the tyres, checked for dirt, grit etc. First tube lasted about a mile before bursting and not re-sealing and the second one didn't last a whole lot longer. Returned them to the trader who claimed it was because there was something wrong with my wheels and it was all my fault. Strange though that the tubes that were on before didn't have a problem and the tubes that went on after them were fine too and lasted for weeks before getting a puncture due to a huge thorn. Odd that my malfunctioning tyres only caused these particular tubes to puncture and not any others. Don't buy them, they're a waste of money. Get some stronger tyres instead - much cheaper in the long run.

Confiable

Think I was unlucky
The 1st tube last ages till I wanted to pump the tube but had difficulty of pulling it off but the valve tore away from the tube!? The liquid do feel abit sticky on the valve. Anyway replaced the same tube & fitted perfect but as I ride on the smooth surface it felt bumpy noticing the back tyre was lumpy! So I plan my stopping place during rush hour then it burst & green stuff poured out! I wasn’t happy. Luckily I had my last tube but a schwalbe, 5 mins I’m on my way again. Investigated the burst tube & found a seal was faulty. I don’t think it’s worth the extra money for this tube & still get a puncture.

These work fine. Saved many of my rides.
These work fine for me. I did of about 300miles on punctured tyre/ tube. Seels well, but messes your leg a little bit when the puncture happens. But again, no need to replace tube every time the puncture happened and also definitely will allow to complete your ride.
