Whidbey Tea/ Russian Earl Grey ROCKS!!
Russian Earl Grey Tea? One word, YUM! My girlfriend got a 1st can for my birthday and was hooked by the black horse on the front. Then I opened it and found that the aroma was as good as the flavor, 15 sachets of assam tea, orange peel and lemongrass for that hint of citrus and bergamot for that OOO YEAH !! finish. I quickly ordered 2nd can then and there. Whidbey Tea/ Russian Earl Grey ROCKS!! Oh, the caffeine kept me awake and let go at the right time with no jitters. And this was after 2 cups early in the evening and I'm a big guy. My advice is drink slow, because hot or cold. This IS the good stuff 🙂.

For tea connoisseurs!
I am a tea connoisseur with a borderline tea addiction. I live in San Francisco and regularly visit China Town to do tea tastings, and I have also experienced traditional tea ceremonies in Kyoto. Thus, I have been exposed to a variety of phenomenal teas – considered by some to be of the highest quality in the world. Before tasting these Whidbey Tea Bags - Chamomile Mint, I didn't have any expectations. However – after brewing myself a cup – my senses were immediately vitalized by the splendid aroma. Subsequent to my tea steeping and cooling down, I was even more thrilled by how delicious it tasted. The quality of these tea bags are on par with any of my favorite chamomile teas that I have tasted around the world. I will be regularly ordering Whidbey tea from here on out.

Beautiful Pacific Northwest tea!
A friend referred this tea to me, and I’m so glad she did! It used to only be available in boutiques, so it’s so nice that it’s finally on Amazon. The Native American inspired design is absolutely lovely (“Whidbey” is an island in the San Juan’s near Seattle). And the silk bags inside look nice, and steep wonderfully. As to the tea itself, before steeping it smells a little of anise and slightly herbaceous. Once brewed, it has a pretty light mouth feel, little acidity and full flavor. I normally prefer teas with a little more body, but this one is balanced well. I really enjoy drinking this on its own, but it might not pair with heavier foods.Overall, this in an amazing tea!! Highly recommend both this blend and the Russian Early Grey.

Pretty Good
I received a sample of this tea in a wellness box, the sample was FABULOUS! I went an ordered it online immediately. The tea I received is the same packaging however the taste is not the same, close but still not the "knock my socks off" taste from the first sample bag.

The search is over.
I love Earl Grey tea but if tea drinkers would be honest, many if not most have a heavy, perfume like taste with a dry aftertaste. This tea is incredible. Flavor filled with a sweet aroma and a surprisingly sweet with notes of orange and almost a roobious like tea embedded in the aftertaste. This is what Earl Grey was supposed to taste like. I doubt I will drink another brand of Earl Grey in the future; this tea is that good.

Excellent tea - product value
I was so happy to find this tea on Amazon. I had first bought it when visiting the Seattle/Whidbey Island area this past summer and found it to be an outstanding English breakfast tea at a very reasonable price point for what you receive. I am a bit of a tea snob, and it is obvious this company has chosen to produce a quality product rather than invest money in over-the-top packaging/marketing. I have also bought/tried the chamomile-mint which is excellent if you are looking for something without caffeine. Highly recommend!

Wish this had the flavour to match the ingredients
I wanted to love this tea pretty badly (big NW food products fan) unfortunately there’s barely much lemongrass or bergamot that can be either inhaled or tasted. Not sure if I got an older container but compared to a variety of other teas the taste is lacklustre and leaves one shopping for a new Earl Grey.Love the brand and just hoping a small batch product snafu 😕

Not worth the price.
I recently compared tea from Teapigs, Whidbey, and Ambience. Whidbey is Assamese black tea and needs longer brewing time to release the full aroma. I found the tea from Teapigs (nice aromatic tea made from Assamese, Srilankan, and Rwandan tea mix) to be the best among these three with Ambience the worst.I also preferred Twinnings Darjeeling black tea over Whidbey and it is considerably cheaper. So if you want to spend the money go for Teapigs or better still Tea Forte which has the best packaging and flavor.
