Bought this for practising macramé knots as it’s quite thick. I like the colour and the softness. It’s 50/50 as a practice cord: great because it’s chunky but a little unforgiving if you need to unto your work multiple times. Probably better to use a 3-ply cord if you’re new to knotting. However, this is good for projects once you’ve practiced your knots and I’ve made several wall hangings and will definitely use again.

I’m not too impressed with this item and unfortunately I won’t buy it again. It has flecks of colour through it and it’s not a very good qualified.

I think the product was good value, as in it's very thick.. I bought 2 reels on natural 3mm cord. I found it hard to work with, and when I attempted to brush it out at the end of my work, it just all coiled together, which hasn't happened with other cord I've bought before, and didn't have the look I'd hoped for. I think it should be noted about the amount of fleck in the cord.. which I know can't be helped if its natural cotton, but I was surprised with the amount of flecks in it. I'd probably use the other reel, around the house but not for #macrame again.

Cord was more like 3mm than the 4mm I ordered. Very disappointed as it takes twice as much cord to finish a project. Would not order again.
