A nice Reproduction non-firing revolver
It should be obvious that at this very low price you are buying a reproduction 1860 Army Revolver. In fact Denix has been making reproductions for a number of years. This item is made in Spain it works and feels like the real thing.....except it does not fire. The trigger double cocks and the cyclinder turns properly and the tamping device works like the real thing. The quality of the handles and the simulated grey antiquing is great for a reproduction. The workmanship on the metal is more than acceptable for such a low price. I recommend it for anyone wanting the look and feel of the real thing without the danger of a black powder or cartridge weapon. It is a piece of art and not a toy. With the free super saver shipping this is the best price on the web.

Very nice replica for the money !
I am a Civil War re-enacter from the Heart of Dixie ,and am a member of a Confederate re-enacter unit which participates in numerous battle re-enactments which are a site to behold ,and are large events ! I give this replica a thumbs up for detail -it looks like the real deal ! This is a fine display piece for a non-firing replica ! I was very surprised at how nice this revolver looks ! My freinds reaction was Wow ,and their eyes got big ! Do I need say more !

It is much like the real thing
This replica is a good example of the real thing. Its heavy and balance which is nonexistent in the real weapon is very present in this gun. It brings to life the technology of the time and what a soldier had to deal with. I never knew what an ungainly weapon that 1860 coat was until I bought this replica. There are a few improvements that could be made such as the grips do not fit well, the hammer has no groove in it for the rear site and the trigger guard could be brass or painted as such, just minor stuff the owner can improve on.

Great wall dressing.
The piece looks real enough and looks great on the wall. The barrel is loose, and shakes a little. There's no way to tighten it. However, I bought it as a wall decoration, and it fills that purpose nicely, so I'm satisfied. It is made of "soft" metal , So I don't recommend it as something to be handled or played with very often, as I feel it could be easily and permanently damaged.

Looks and feels like a real gun.
The final touch to my Westworld themed Halloween costume. This gun is very heavy and looks and feels like the real thing. So keep it secured if in public.
