Amazing product - a godsend for dry and blotchy skin!
This is my second pot and if I could give it 6 stars I would! I'm 40 and this is the only scrub I have ever used that works well with my sensitive, rosacea acne prone skin. Zero irritation (for me) and it leaves my skin feeling silky and moisturised. After applying, moisturiser absorbs better and make-up sits on my skin alot better. Yes, it's maybe a bit messier than other scrubs but you get used to it. Amazing to find a product with so many natural ingredients that actually works!!

Great for dry skin
Love the smell of this. It's quite rough so I have to be super gentle but I love that it leaves a silky film on my skin that my face absorbs after I'm done using it. Really helps my dry skin

A great conscious choice but not meant for the sensitive skin
Pro's: - Great recyclable packaging (no plastic!) comes in a glass jar - No chemicals/toxins (I've started to search for more toxin/chemical-free products to improve my health and this was a great choice) - Uses essential oils instead of perfume (perfume is a big chemical ingredient that damages the skin/and more) - Uses recycled coffee grounds - Scrubs really well (bit too well) Con's: - This scrub is not for the sensitive skin. I always scrub very gently but even with this it really hurts, so I just circle my fingers maybe once/twice and then I rinse it off, more scrubbing just really hurts. I can only use it once a week (but good enough for me) - It gets very messy, it doesn't rinse off easily (probably because of the oils, it sticks), so I only use it in the shower. The coffee grounds is a great conscious choice for the environment, however coffee grounds are very hard to rinse down the drain because they're heavy grounds. (You shouldn't drain normal coffee grounds in your drain anyway, since it clogs your pipes very easily) So I have to use extra water to make sure it leaves the pipes. - If you're not used to essential oils then the smell might be a bit weird for you (it doesn't bother me since the scent doesn't stay on my face) Conclusion: I love the idea and that it is a super environmental friendly and chemical-free option. Since I have a very sensitive skin this might not become a staple product, however it might be great for someone else who loves a deep scrub.

Great planet friendly scrub
First time user and very impressed, I was I initially worried as quite a rough scrub so you do have to be quite gentle, but as someone with sensitive skin it’s actually done my skin wonders, it leaves your face feeling so smooth and moisturised. Plus it smells nice, a mix of coffee and lemon/orange (which is a strange combo but interestingly you get used to it!) Love the whole UpCircle range. Even better in a glass jar so good for the planet. 10/10 do recommend 😊

A good Face scrub.
Ordered this to exfoliate as most face washes although it says it exfoliates its just not strong enough. This does however feel like your having a deep clean thanks to the coffee granules. And as its oil based, I find I don't have to moisturise after as it leaves the skin soft with a oil/moisturising feel after from the product. So perhaps, not the best for those with oily skin, unless you use a face wash after the exfoliator to wash off the oil based residue. It's a decent size and should last a month or longer, I tend to use it in the shower or bath and not daily. So I expect it to last a few months as I use it sparingly. Things to note are, you need to rinse it off throughly as sometimes the coffee granules don't wash off so easy because of the oils its mixed with. And the scent, I normally like essential oil scents but this smells weird, it defo smells like essential oils, but I can't pin point the scent. It's a mix of citrus, maybe lavender and coffee mixed together? I'm not a fan of the smell. I'd almost like it more if It smelt more like coffee or smelt more like one essential oil like lavender, not everything combined. If you're sensitive to scent, then this probably won't be for you. Hope this is useful :)

Exhilarating, reasonably priced, effective face scrub with an enjoyable caffeine zap!
Love the concept of this very effective face scrub, sourced from coffee waste. I get an environmentally friendly kick out of using It, my face feels ultra clean and refreshed after using It every time, the gentle scent of caffeine helps to get you going and if you pick it up when it's on sale, it's pretty good value for money as a little goes a long way. Just a word of caution that I would not class this as a daily face scrub for most people. It's just too coarse for that..... unless you're an oil rig worker or a lumberjack. But as an occasional scrub, it is an exhilarating treat for the senses and in years of using face cleaners and balms, I haven't come across anything any better. I anticipate using it forevermore unless they get silly with the price. Oh and I am one of those rare people who misses the coffee tasting chocolates in the Christmas tubs. But if you have an aversion to coffee generally, then you might wish to seek out another product for obvious reasons!

Surprised in a good way
So - getting older, skin is doing funny things on my face - zones that used to be normal now dry, sometimes feels like scales - you know getting older joys. I wanted a scrub that didn’t feel like I was removing any moisture my skin had managed to hold on to whilst I removed the apparent dead skin that stubbornly refuses to age gracefully. Beautifully packaged - like genuinely surprised by this. You do not need to use a lot - does it feel like you’re rubbing coffee grounds into your face and you have succumbed to the hype - yes. Does it look like you’ve rubbed poop on your face - yes. Had to take a photo and send to a friend I was laughing so hard when I looked in the mirror having looked at my hands after gently rubbing this on to my face 🤣. As I washed it off I was super surprised that my skin felt a little oily, as I’m so used to using a face scrub and feeling like I’m using a squeegee on a window with the squeaky clean sound. It felt super smooth as well and I didn’t feel the need to pat dry my face, it just felt good. And as I settled down after my shower for a movie (don’t judge me for evening showering!) my face continued to feel good and moisturised. Usually I have to run for the face moisturiser and slap it on till I no longer hear my face screaming for moisture! I did put in night cream before bed and this morning woke up to my skin feeling soft and loved. The dry patch between my eyebrows that has suddenly decided it needed to be in my life seems to have been evicted! And I no longer feel like I am shedding! Really good product, super happy! Treat yourself!

Amazing. Must try. Glass jar
Doesn’t break me out, I have dry / combo skin and most exfoliators caused me to break out. I’ve been using this every couple days for a week now and I’m all clear. Leaves a nice moisturizing feeling after from rosehip oil. I like to use it at night. Ordered this on a whim with my Whole Foods groceries. Packaging is excellent, glass bottle with a metal lid. 10/10

Erst skeptisch, dann begeistert
