I have started collecting these honest products after not really wearing makeup at all for a long time and wanting new, natural makeup. I really like most of them, but this is not my favorite. I was impressed that I was able to find the correct shade just by the picture and description. It blends right in to my skin. I have combination skin, and am 36 so trying to figure out how to best work with eye area wrinkles. I had to use my fingers to spread the foundation, a brush didn't really work because it is thick. Once it was on it did feel nice, and mostly looked good. However, For me it was a little too try, and showed some dry patches. After a couple hours it also started to settle into my wrinkles. (which is an issue with my previous foundation as well). Overall its ok, i will keep it and use it, but maybe not for all day wear... My favorite honest products so far are the tinted lip balm, mascara, and eyebrow pencil. For the price and having natural ingredients, this foundation is pretty good, but maybe not the best for aging skin.Update: I added one star now that i have been using this foundation for a couple weeks. I compared to my bareminerals foundation that I have used forever, and at the end of the day the honest foundation looked better. Less settling into lines, but my face still looked, smooth, even, with no shiny or dry spots. I do think it is helping prevent my chin from breaking out now that I am back at work and wearing a mask every day. I just make sure my skin is very well moisturized before I put it on and it has been easier to apply evenly.

I bought it because it didn't have talc in it...but sadly, this product does NONE of what it says it would do! It is like chalk, actually. A brush will not be able to take up the product. You have to have a thick sponge. Then, when you put it on your skin with primer....it goes on like a thick lump of plaster; not at all smooth and easy to apply; on the contrary, hard and just exceedingly difficult to rub or spread onto your skin. Finally, when you manage to rub (the heck out of it) into your skin, the tone/shade that is claimed to blend into your skin to adjust to your tone ends up looking like Kabooki or stage make-up. I can't believe Jessica Alba endorses this product!!!!

I can’t believe i’m buying makeup on amazon but I did and I was not disappointed. I have been using concealer and powder for face makeup ( my face sweats so i prefer powder) until I decided to try Honest cream foundation. I was happy that the shade matched my current powder. I applied it with my fingers but will try a sponge too. I’m in my early 40’s so need something that is hydrating , and this is , it’s buildable coverage that goes on smoothly. I love that it has vitamin e and jojoba oil. It lasted all day and I was at a pool party with friends. The shade i got was “Sand”. It didn’t have an unpleasant smell and didn’t irritate my skin i’m any way. It held up well under my mask. I am replacing my powder and concealer with this product. (i’m also wearing Honest cream cheek in Rose Pink)

When I first got this foundation I looked at the shade and thought, “Heck no!” But I was wrong! Once applied the color was perfect, and my skin was glowing. I am in my late 50’s and this made my skin look very smooth! The compact is weird…I had to get my husband to open it for me…but I love the foundation. Give it a try! I bought “Vanilla” because I still have my summer tan, and it is perfect.

I absolutely love the finish and natural look this foundation provides, but after using it for several weeks, I noticed my pores widening and more blackheads all across my skin. I was also using this in combination with the Honest cream blushes, which are also so beautiful and mimic a natural glow. I'm so sad that I can't use them anymore simply because I don't want to reduce the natural appearance of my skin. I started reverting back to my Bare Minerals powder foundation and have noticed improvements in my skin. For context, my skin is dry and I don't typically have large pores or blackheads.

I love this foundation! Non toxic, vegan, looks amazing and lasts all day! I will be purchasing this regularly form now on.

I love a good cream foundation, especially one that has such good ingredients. This foundation doesn’t break me out and last through a 12 hr workday! I do set it with the honest beauty powder. It can be a little more difficult to spread as with any cream foundation but not too bad. I got the shade linen, it didn’t look like it’d be a good match in the pan but ended up matching perfectly. I think the foundation Shades are very forgiving and I love the non toxic ingredients. Definitely worth a try. I plan on getting a darker shade for summer. It can cling to dry patchy areas so moisturize very well before using.

I had hoped to use one line of clean makeup and chose HONEST BEAUTY for affordability. Foundation is the important piece for me and this was disappointing.I have mature skin, so dryness is an issue.PROS: this product has clean ingredients at $21. Nice packaging with applicator.CONS: Applied according to directions it does not smooth out and gathered at nose and in pores. Looked terrible. Sadly, had to return. I will try PHYSICIAN'S FORMULA ORGANIC next and hope for better results.

The seal on the box was open and there was an oily substance all over it. Returned it and now hesitate to purchase again

Was not able to spread outside of container, nor pick up pigment. No colour came out.

Product showed up with finger prints in it. Very disappointing
