MiniSplit wash bag for home owner cleaning of the inside unit....very effective product.
After much research, I decided on taking a risk on this Singapore/Australian product. I was not disappointed. The bag itself is made of fairly heavy duty plastic and can clearly be used numerous times. The directions as to how to attach the bag to your ductless mini split were right on the bag. A very substantial elastic band is the "backbone" of the bag staying put as one sprays solvent and rinse water into the interior unit of the minisplit. This product held up well. The cost was $33.00 plus shipping and given it's just a plastic bag, it would have been nice if AirConCare could/would have included shipping in the total price.Still, the bag did everything it was supposed to do; worked flawlessly; and, again, can be re-used several times if not more provided one is diligent in putting it on the minisplit and removing it. The directions as to how to attach the bag are written on the bag such that it's easy to know which side goes on which side of the interior unit of the minisplit. The elastic band, again, the backbone of keeping the bag attached as it fills with spent solvent and rinsing water won't "stretch out" after a use or two....or at least that is what we hope! It's great, also, they offer two sizes. Be sure to measure your inside unit of your minisplit and select the right size before you order. We chose NOT to remove the plastic chassis and so ordered the large size bag. It was just the right fit for our purposes.Ductless minisplit aircon systems are the future. Don't let a USA HVAC outfit charge you $150 for a service call to clean your unit simply by spraying a foaming solution out of a can. The same can the HVAC "pro" is using can be purchased at WalMart and you can spray that can of stuff yourself. It's no different than spraying a can of shaving cream on your coils. Use the rinse system which makes use of these wash bags to collect spent solvent and rinse water. I elected to go with a different brand of solvent over what the wash bag company markets, but it's all pretty much the same. My first effort was a bit clumsy indeed....it was a shakedown cruise. It'll go even faster next time. And trust me.....the spent solvent and rinse water were black as black can be filled with bio-slime and dirt from just modest use. This manner of cleaning your interior unit is far superior to some guy spraying a can of shaving cream on the coils and sending you a bill for $150.00 or whatever. https://airconcare.com/ is the home company for both the wash bag and their version of solvent. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP7QL6hpvyo is a good you tube video that shows you how to use this bag. [...] video that shows essentially the same process, but with a different type of bag and solvent. The wash bag for this product looked too labor intensive to put on, thus I purchased AirConCare's bag. I did purchase, however, the Desolv solvent.

Works great. I ordered a second one
Works great. I ordered a second one, but I'm using someone else's solution because airconcare's is too expensive. Original kit = $97. Refill = $67 + $39 shipping = $106. Ridiculous.

This item arrived deceptively defective,
This item arrived deceptively defective,Not until I began to use it did it become apparent that the bag had a leak. You can imagine the mess this created. I was very "Teed-off" to say the least.Don"t purchase unless you are ready for a surprise. Better yet, inspect the item before using...

Great but Still Leaks A Little
The bag works great catching most of the water. However, some water still leaks behind the bad and down the wall when cleaning the A/C. The bag is also hard to catch on blower units that are sealed around the edge. I had this issue on one of my blowers out of four and more water leaked behind the bag than when I cleaned the other blowers.
