I have two of these, one for each knee. Most recently, I used them to ski for 3 full days in a row in Lake Tahoe. My knees aren't bad, but they aren't particularly great either and after extended activities that use knees a lot (skiing, hiking, etc) I tend to get sharp pains and general soreness. Having worn these I didn't have any pain at any point and was able to ski for all three days and still walk around on the 4th. Once they were on it was easy to forget they were there. On the more critical side. These are relatively comfortable to wear all day with only a little more than skin soreness equal to a tube sock worn for an extended amount of time. They are however somewhat limiting and would not be good for activities where a large range of motion is necessary.

This knee brace has reduced my knee pain 50%. I have RA on my right side and my knee causes instability and swelling. I use a recumbant bike 3 times a week and the day after workout can be particularly troubling. I am 77 years old and staying active and avoiding falls is paramount and I have found this brace to be a safe and effective way to limit my vulnerability. This is the second one as I "borrowed" my husbands for quite a while and had to give it up so I purchased one for myself. I have been using it quite a while now and I find the brace is contouring to my leg and knee. It doesn't slip down but stays snug and form fits. It took a few 'sweat times' to achieve this. It washes clean in the washing machine on cold water and in a net bag. Hang dry is effective and it is ready to go by morning when washed at nite. Delivery was timely and it came without incident.

For this price, it's a great deal. However, it seems I should have bought a bigger size. It barely stay fit, and if I move too much or sit down, the bending motion will force the Velcro to come apart, because it just barely fits around my knee. So, get a bigger size to ensure the Velcro is long enough to secure the brace around your knee.

Where one on each knee works great

Very, very difficult to put on and it is very uncomfortable. I think a sleeve probably would work best or better than this. All the Velcro is very uncomfortable.

As much as I really like all of the other Mueller products that I own, unfortunately this purchase did not meet my expectations. The item that I received did not fit and I will be returning it soon. The leg straps were not the advertised length.

I love these Mueller knee braces. They are the best I have ever used. They have three straps to get it on tight so it doesn't slide down your leg. There are so many expensive brands that don't have three straps and just slide down - Mueller is priced reasonably. The strap wraps around your knee - don't have to slide it up your leg - so easy to use. That third strap is what gives Mueller the edge in pain relief and support. Highly recommend.

Missed the mark. If this brace had a solid back and adjustable straps only in the front, it would have been a better design. Having all of the straps makes this brace pinch the skin behind the knee. I get the idea of adjustability but it's not necessary behind the knee. That should be a solid piece. If you want to have the adjustability just make it in the front - tighter or looser as needed.

Great item, velcro holds well, easy to adjust, using wash machine on delicate to wash - no problems so far

Excellent product

Good support but the straps were a bit troublesome to get right. Fit is great and ran an hour in them with no chafing or discomfort. Great quality and made to last.

Excelente producto

I switched to elastic knee wraps to keep my knees safe when lifting. And much prefer that setup, and the support on my knees is much better. Since my knee sleeves are a little worse for wear, I wanted replacements that fit more like wraps, with the ability to tension above and below the knee. These seemed like a good bet. The fitting instructions worked well for me. Getting this on is a little tricky since there are so many hook and loop closures and I had to practice to get a hang of it. Once on, you can adjust the pressure around the top and bottom of your knee to suit yourself. To me these feel better than the full knee sleeve.
