It works.....
Using Canon ef lenses in reverse mode with the M3, camera wont take pictures. By using this double ended reverse mount adaptor, will allow you not only to take pictures , the auto focus will work too.Add a couple extension tubes and you'll be way more than1:1.I have gotten nearly 5:1. All for under 65 quid. This mount plus the extension tubes. It comes in a pleather pouch and is actually well made. It comes with a few spacers but be prepared to buy the correct one for the lens you choose.Overall, very happy with the purchase. Defo reccomend if you fancy a blast at macro.I use a nifty 50 and some meike extension tubes.

Excellent accessory. Have used it with several lenses and have had great results.
Have used this adapter with several lenses and have had really good results. There is only one gripe that I think needs to be addressed. The plastic bags that the threaded adapters are supplied in appear to be biodegradable. I have only stored them for a few months and the bags have already started to decay and have left a powdery deposit on the adapters.I really dont want that dust on my lenses or camera.Still 5 stars though!

Fantastic. Opens up whole range of old fashioned photographic fun . Extremely reasonable and frankly ingenious

Great results done cheap 😊
I’m using in conjunction with Kenko extension rings and a flash on a magic arm, gives great results for relatively little money. I find my canon 85mm f1.8 & 17-40L cover just about any nagnification of macro that I want.

Macro photography on a budget
I wanted an inexpensive route into macro photography. This lens adapter allows you to reverse your existing lenses, mount them on your camera body & still maintain full aperture control - important to control the depth of field. I used this adapter on my Canon 7D with my Canon 50mm F/1.8 (see photos). I would highly recommend using a camera rail along with a tripod. I use the Neewer Pro 4-Way Macro Focusing rail... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B009SJ7UWU?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I am a little clumsy with it but it seems to be as advertised.
I have only used it once, so right now I find it a little awkward to use. However I will be giving it a good workout as I continue to explore it’s functions. Then I will compare it with extension tubes I already own.

Great Accessory for Macro work.
Decent accessory, allows AF function on reversed lens for macro. Also covers the rear (now front) lens contacts and has 52mm threads for protective or other filter and lens cap. My only wish is an additional ring for 82mm lens sized lenses
